Zaragoza
Zaragoza is a small province in Spain with a current population of 660,895 (as of 2006).It is a historical landmark and a province that is rich in its culture, creative in its food, along with an area with many entertaining past times and landmarks.
Zaragoza was an early developer of its economical activity. In 1982a General motor Opel factory was opened along with Balay, both of which have been a great success. Although nowadays Zaragoza is more of an entertaining place for travelers then a leader in the economical field.Zaragoza has many entertaining activities for travelers from shopping and sightseeing to watching there football team, which has six years of wins for the UEFA cup. For thoughts who are shopping you may want to pack some extra cash since ten U.S. dollars is equal to 7.60 euros. For those going sight seeing, there is the Lonja, an old currency exchange, the La Seo Cathedral, a magnificent 14th century cathedral that boast a museum for its numerous magnificent tapestry's, or the Roman city walls that surrounds the city. To get a plan to Zaragoza from the states it is usually about 1,407 per person (as of 2007). Tourist should pack light cloths since temperatures are usually mild yet may set a slight dip in the cold every now and then. Due to these gentle temperatures travelers many enjoy the many creative dishes such as the Baculao al Ajorriero, codfish with garlic and eggs, Huevos al Salmorejo, a plate of eggs with a sauce of asparagus, Pollo a la chilindron, chicken in a sauce or cured ham, tomatoes onion, and paprika, outside in the the historical streets of Zaragoza. Despite all this Zaragoza is most famous for its Fiestas Del Pilar in October, a celebration in honor of the town patroness 'Virgen Del Pilar' and also its Fiestas de Primacou in may that celebrates the start of spring. Zaragoza is a Spanish speaking province, yet it is not uncommon to hear a bit of french on its streets since it is close to France.
Zaragoza is an excellent province to visit if you ever happen to be on a trip near Spain or France, it is an entertaining province that is bound to steal your heart and entertain you through out your trip there, if ever there was a place to go, it is surely Zaragoza.
