I've noticed that the American economy and credit cards (that and other things that deal with debt and loans), are incredibly ludicrous.
They seem to be destroying each other to the point where neither will be left. First you have people buying things with credit cards. Interests, changeable contracts, and altering plans can totally affect how much the ending total will be. So then people are paying more for things that they didn't have the money for in the beginning and might not have the money for in the end.
So that money goes towards the companies and they collect cash. But then the economy starts to fail. People are wasting their money on payment plans and such so they can't go out and buy stuff. (irony) Then when they can no longer buy things a stockpile of goods start to build up. Therefore inflation. Things end up costing less, less money is made, both by the companies and the workers.
People will begin to make less money, and not be able to get raises and the like. This is a problem for the debt, loan and credit agencies, one that they themselves created. Inevitably money will cease to have the circulation it does and the companies will have to shut down one by one. This however causes problems, such as, not being able to pay for extended plans and instead everything would be on the spot.
As this continues our economy will fail. And with that all of US will follow, ending, inevitably, with us losing some great war and all dieing. I predict that a stock market crash shall happen within the next 25-50 years. Another Great Depression shall occur. But this time the effect will be monstrous, with that another war shall commence, to take over us, but no follow up shall happen. Credit cards will be the death of the economy and of the US. That is the future that I predict!

And since America is such a jerk, I'll bet we'll be the first target. Whoopie. I'm going to Canada. xD
Let's hope it's 50 years until all this happens. That way, I'll be an old fart and probably wouldn't care too much about money and young whipper-snappers causing trouble. xDDD
