It's like 2:37 in the morning... well now it's 2:38.
So tired but can't seem to get any sleep. Our weather seems to hate us. And I hate it. Hope it doesn't ruin my plans. We manage to get flash flood warning, a tornado watch, and a thunderstorm, at the same time. I've sometimes find those warnings to be useless. The appear in the middle of a show and tells you to change channels. Then you see a horrible map of your general area (accurate enough to know which state your in) that is hard to understand (unless your an accomplished meteorologist of course) and tiny, at the same time.
So I bothered to change to the designated channel. Once I had done so I found out the channel wasn't even a news channel, but something talking about laws. This of course didn't put me in the best of modes. That was maybe 6 or so hours ago. Around 8 or something. I like the fact that it rained though. We won't be having brushfires for at least a whole nother day. I would go out there, but I would catch a cold. Then again I don't really get sick.
It was 2:43 now... it's 2:44.
My dog is scared of the noise from the storm. Don't blame him of course (them having the sensitive hearing and what-not) so he tries to stay close to us. he went outside in the rain (strange behavior, considering his fear of all things wet) but then there was some lightning. This caused him to want to come right back in. I guess he has learned to associate lightning with thunder. Don't really blame him. Everyone does it.
A big bolt hit nearby at around 9:23. It shook the floor, which was pretty cool. I've always wanted to get hit by some lightning. To have a couple zillion volts of plasma and nitrogen pulsing through you, trying to get to the ground, would be really exciting. Also wanted to try the flood waters. To see what they are like. ( my sympathy goes out to all those who actually went through one.) And of course I want to ride a tornado. what could be greater? Going really fast in a giant circle. The force of nature. But then putting them all together. That might be bad. Like riding a cyclone (tornado + water) and getting wet from the water, then getting zap (which is worse then getting hit by a cannon) by lightning. It would be the greatest thrill of my life.
It's 2:58 CDT. Sleepy, but can't sleep. Might as well try to get some anyways.
Night.

My grandparents' town got hit HARD by one. I've been terrified ever since. I almost begin crying when the sirens go off.
Although I like thunderstorms...just as long as they're not severe with hail and other tornado-warning stuff.
