A girl about the age of four was sleeping soundly in her bed when suddenly her alarm went off... The girl did not wake up she simply rolled over and covered her small head with the blankets to help sound out the noise. This girl has been up nearly the while night doing her chores and doing things any other four year old would not have to do. Feeding the cows and horses, doing the dishes, laundry, mopping the floors, and keeping the stalls clean were all her chores.
Finally, a woman with hard yet kind blue eyes and long brown hair walked in the room wereing nothing but a robe wrapped around her. "GET UP YOU LAZY BUMB!!" She said, holding the robe closed with one hand and hitting the sleeping girl repeatedly "is Amy sleeping in again!? Don't make me have to get in there!"
Amy sat up not wanting a beating from her fater, she rubbed her green eyes and yawned. Her mother stood there for a moment glareing at her then finally turned around and walked out the door. "Just hurry up or you'll be late for school..." Amy's mother said from in the kitchen. yes Amy had started school earlyer then most kids, her parance were slightly rich and they had payed the school to let her in. Amy stood up laying her soft feet against the cold hardwood floor. She brushed her long brown hair and dressed into some baggy like jeans and a simple t-shirt.
Amy didn't bother to eat breakfast, for usually if she did she woulden't be hungrey for lunch. She eventually walked out the door to be greated by a warm spring morning breeze. She coulden't help but smile at the fact it was no longer cold. Spring was her favorite time of the year.
Amy eventually got to school to be greeted by her five familure best friends who had all been talking and playing around. Her best friend Lauren smiled warmly seeing her. "Amy!! your here finally!" rose nodded "yeah mommy made me stay up later then usual doing chores" Lauren hugged her "dont worry" Daniel randomly raised her arms in the air happily "i dreamed of flying fish last night!!" Nikki looked over at daniell and laughed "Well i dreamed of angels and cats" Amy sat down on the carpet.
Kiko, another of amy's friends, sat beside her "well i had a dream about your mom and dad for some reason last night" Amy giggled "That must have been a weird dream!" they all laughed thinking it was funny that someone had dreamed about Amy's parence.
The bell finally rang, the morning over Am stood up and gathered her stuff and headed to her class. She practically slept through most of the day but towards the end her best friend Lauren mentioned something "tomorrows Amy's b-day!" She said and Amy felt her face burn red as the class began to sing to her. It was true she was turning five. She felt happy as she wondered if she was going to recieve a huge b-day cake like she did at her last birthday. To be five years old, she felt as if she was no longer a kid.
Amy pushed open the school doors and waved bye to Lauren who was being picked up by her parence like every other student at the school. Amy turned back and headed home a smiled on her face wondering what would be in store for her there.
