sigh Good old March break. It comes, it goes, it leaves you with "the evil, super-contagious cold of doom" so that you miss your first day back to school. >.< I'm fairly sure I got it at work, from handling money all night on Friday. ANd by all night I mean from 11pm to 7am. It was a fun shift actually, and I got paid an extra dollar an hour, got a free meal, and got hit on by drunk guys all night (not as annoying as it sounds once you learn to have fun with it). However, at 6am I suddenly realized that I was sick. When I showed up at 11pm Saturday night to work the same shift, I actually had to send one of the managers out to buy me extra strength advil (which I mixed with Tylonol, Halls, and Coffeee throughout the night). I was then stupid enough to NOT go to sleep when I got home, and spend Sunday at the fleamarket and with my boyfriend. So, 27 hours after I had last woken up, I went to bed, only to wake up 8 hours later to discover I was even more sick. @_@ Actually, things could be worse. At least I managed to track down my math homework, which has been eluding me all week. Turns out I had taken it out of my binder and just brought the sheets home. Now if only I could remember how to solve for k so that the equation has two distinct real roots I'd be fine. eek Oh, I've found a new hangout on Gaia. To tell the truth, the LOTR subforum is really starting to annoy me, and so other than the guilds, I've been avoiding the forums lately. But then I decided to head back to the writers forum, where I lurked habitually until the LOTR forum arrived. Turns out that the writing contests subforum is a really good place to meet new friends, and adopt Soggy Cats (don't ask) ^.^ I should really put a mention of Soggy Cat into my sig actually. Ayything else of interest? Well, I'm considering beginning a quest for a devil tail. But I think I'll wait until I've got at least 10 or 15k. 	Well, it seems there are three kinds of threads: 1) The kind that make some of us want to claw our eyes out. I'm sure I don't need to point any out, they're not excactly that rare. 2) Intelligent discussions, usually between those of you who are what I like to call "The incredibly well read lucky insert practically any plural word here" Usually, the main posters in these threads are you, Nandelle, and Edhellos. These are great- I just have yet to find the money or opportunity to buy HOME. Thus, I have no clue what's being discussed 3) The popular "reg" hangouts. Mainly, The Green Dragon and the Bakshi Legolas thread. Also great (though I never go to the Bakshi Legolas one), but they move fast, and I'm one of those people who insists on reading every single unread post before saying anything. So it's not so much that the subforum bothers me, it's that the illiterate fangirls, my lack of knowledge, and my obsessive lurking that are bothering me. sweatdrop ...wow, I should have just posted another journal entry. 	Ah, okay. I was worried it was a problem with the regulars. Wouldn;t be the first time someone's had those concerns. Not much else I can say, I guess, sort of advising you to figure out how to create money out of nothing and then add an hour to the day so you can read your freshly bought HoMe.
