Well, I have time to kill until I head off to the battle of the bands, so I might as well spend some time bragging about how amazinging this week has been.
I could explain each excellent day in detail, but I'll ust give highlights:
Tuesday: Watched Finding Forrestor in English, and was inspired to write again, had my math test moved to a date nearly a week away from the original, and got to miss Career Life Management for an assembly.
Wednesday: Spent the afternoon in Halifax, to see a play for English. We were responsible for finding our own way there and back. Afterwards, my friends and I wandered the city, and went into Venus Envy, the local "sex shop". Besides laughing at cheesecake flavoured lube, I also bought to buttons. One says "Stop Using Jesus as an excuse for being a narrow- minded bigoted a*****e" (and is directed only towards those who fall into this category, and not in meant in any way as an offense towards all Christians), and another that says "I WANT IT ALL, and I want it covered in Chocolate." xd I also found an incredibly old copy of the divine comedy in a bookstore, but definitley lacked the money to buy it. Still, it was so gorgeous that just seeing it made my day.
Today: Got to sleep in, since I had off class first. Missed most of Math for an assembly about Grade Twelve course selection. Missed the last 20 minutes of CLM and all of English to see a Hypnotist. It was probably the most entertaining show I've ever seen. He hypnotized about fifteen grade twelves, and had the audience in stitches. At one point, a boy was chasing an imaginary grasshopped around the auditorium, and asked the hypnotist for a container. He got it, but then suddenly got a terrified look on his face, and came back, asking for a larger container since the grasshopper had just grown larger. This happened twice more, until he suddenly flipped out, interrupted the performance, and began raving about how the grasshopper had turned into a man eating monster, and yelling at us all to run for our lives. Another guy attempted to hypnotize the audience, and did it in Martian-ese eek I've never really beleived in Hypnotism, but because I know some of the people who were on stage fairly well, I'm 99% sure there was no way they were faking. Now he'd better come back next year...I want to perform in RiverDance while stuck to my chair! sweatdrop
Anyways, I'm done. Yay for my exciting and non stressful (for once) week! heart
