These past 3 days I was in Ohio with David :nod: and his dad... and his sister... sweatdrop

March 17th
At around 8am we embark on our journey to the distant land of Ohio. After a few hours of napping in the car playing games with David and flirting with him he he we made our first stop.

It was at a stop in West VA with clean bathrooms and a wooden map with all of the countys marked. There was a giant tv that was set to the weather channel. I went to the vending machine and picked out a lemonade which was flung to the window of the machine as if it were going to attack eek

We then continued our journey to Sarah's (David's sister) house. Our next stop was at the Crocker Barrel. This seems to be David's dad's(Dd) favorite restaurant, seeing that he has a whole map filled with locations of every Crocker Barrel in the US. Since it was St Patty's day I had Corn Beef and cabbage. Alas the cabbage took more then half the plate... there was no way I could finish it but I did try it atleast sweatdrop

After several more hours of riding in the car, with David xd we finally arrived at our destination, Sarah's house. It was surrounded in a lovely little setting with a cazeeboh in the middle of the neighborhood. She gave us a little tour of her house. I liked it, it has everything one needs. She assigned us rooms and that's where I put my stuff. I was to take her room, Dd was next door in the office on the second floor, while David and Sarah took the first floor. After settling down we presented Sarah with her new computer.

We then went out for dinner, I believe the restaurant was called Erma's. It was really great. The place was so ready for StPatty's day. Luckily I was wearing green and so was the rest of David's family.

March 18th

David and I continued working on Sarah's computer trying to transfer files from her old one on to her new one. Well we managed to do some of that last night but it disconnected halfway... however we did manage to get the wirless to work.

We had breakfast at a place called Jack and Benny's. Friendly service I must say. It reminded me of the restaurants from the 50s or 60s.

Then we went to ACCAD (Advanced Computer Center of Art and Design) in Ohio State University. It was so awesome xd the alummni from here have worked on movies such as Monsters Inc, Antz, Bugs Life, Incredibles, Robots and more. They gave us a tour of the place and we even went in on a motion capture studio eek David and I have plans to go there and then hopefully get picked up by Pixar or some other respectable animation studio.

We went to a Piano store called Graves. Dd wanted to check if they still had the orgen he wanted. I looked around a bit and found the place looked like a piano museum.

We then had lunch at the Mozart Cafe, the Samon Sandwhich was to die for xd :

We then went to Best Buy so that David could get a switch box for Sarah's tv, dvd and vcr.

Then we went back to Sarahs and relaxed for a bit. We headed off to Schmitz for dinner joined with live polka entertainment. They teased us as we happpily ate our meals he he.

We then head back to Sarah's and she started packing for you see she was heading home with us for her spring break. In the mean time we were watching the Incredibles.

March 19th

It seemed these days flew by so quickly. We got packed up and were ready to go. We stopped by Bob Evans along the way. Then I was back home telling the folks what we did in Ohio.
