~NOTE~ Should read first second and third before this...
Chapter 4 On my bed lay the dark figure of a girl. She was lying on her stomach with her head in her arms. I finally noticed she was crying. I suddenly felt bad for her. I did not dare say anything, not even move. I truly couldn’t, how scared I was. I watched the girl cry on the bed I had slept in just that night. I then wondered if she too was an elusion. Then I wondered if she was an elusion last night. Was it just my imagination? No, she looked way to real. I watched her with wide eyes. To my surprise she turned her head to look out the window. I saw her dark eyes that had swollen up like two big grapes. Her eyes were now more red then black. She whimpered and put her head back into arms. Then I saw my bed where she laid. She disappeared again. As if she was never there. Not believing my eyes I turned for the door. I suddenly stopped when I heard the sad song that was so familiar to my ears. I looked around, and then ran for the door. “What took you so long?” I looked at Max with confused eyes trying to remember when I had taken so long. It was dark out side and the whole day that I remembered, we were reading. Then I remembered what I had been trying to forget all day. I had succeeded too, until he brought it up. “Oh, just couldn’t find my book. Why do you bring it up so long after?” “I just got the courage to.” I looked up at him to see if he was joking, he was so we both laughed. He finally put down his magazine and reached for the T.V. control. I put in my bookmark and laid the book down on the sofa. He turned it to cartoons. We watched Tom and Jerry for an hour until mom called us in for dinner. “Turn out your light okay.” “All right mom. Ill go to sleep as soon as I’m done with this chapter. I’m almost done this book. Do you know if they have a bookstore in town?” “I think so. Good night.” “Good night.” I read the words in front of me fast. I couldn’t wait to finish this book. It was a mystery book with a girl who couldn’t find her dad. She has to travel all over Europe. Now she’s found him and they’re going back to England. I finished my chapter, but there was one more so I kept reading. I wanted to finish it badly. I also wanted to go into town to the library, maybe I would meet some one there. I finally finished the book. It had a sad ending. It now made me depressed knowing that I had finished it. So I put the book on my light table and walked over to the light switch. Then fear went all the way down my back. I had forgotten all about the strange girl and the things I had seen in this room. I almost got to scared to shut of my light but I knew it had to be done so I put my hands over my eyes and switched the light off. I walked slowly to my bed. I pulled the covers all the way over my head before I removed my hand from my eyes. As soon as I opened them I herd the same sad song that I had heard earlier. It taunted my ears, it made me want to scream. I was just about to when it stopped and instead I heard whispers. Soft, sweat whispers. I pulled the covers down to where I could just see that a woman and a man were standing in front of the window. The woman was holding something. I pulled the covers down more to see what it was. It was what she was whispering to, a baby. In a blanket so long it touched the floor. The same blanket that some one appeared under the night before. I saw the woman giggle then she turned to the man. He was laughing, too. They both looked down at the baby. I saw that they all started to fade slowly. The sad song filled my ears again, but this time I ignored it. I didn’t understand what was happening to me. Was I going crazy? Was this all just my imagination? What was wrong with me? All I knew was that I had to find out.
