Here It Comes
Part 11
Matt tapped his pencil violently on his desk. He had been too busy hanging out with Lindsey last night, that he had forgotten to study. This was the biggest test of the year. He was normally really good at math, but he was too concerned about Lindsey. Had she made it alright? Did she miss the last bus? Where was she now? Was she thinking about him? Matt stared at the test, half hoping that the answers would just show up on the page.
"Time's up! Please come to the front and hand in your test. You are all free to go." The teacher stood up and walked to the side of her desk. Matt sighed. He had probably failed, but he would probably pass overall. He stroad up to the front quickly; he really wanted to see Lindsey. He threw his paper on the pile, it flaoted down slowly, swaying a bit before landing on the desk. The teacher slowly reached out her hand ang touched Matts shoulder. Surprised he look up. "Matt," she started,"have you seen Lindsey today?" "Y-Yes. Is-is there something wrong?" He asked shakily. "When did you last see her?" "This morning. I dropped her off about two blocks away from the bus stop. Will you please tell me what's wrong?" "I see." She squinted "Lindsey school said she never showed up this morning. Lindsey is a good student, and no one thinks she would skip." Matt's eyes widend. He ran out the door and down the street. He kept on running. His cheast was heaving his lungs aching. What posiibly could have happened? He wondered.
He made it to the school grounds. He dropped to his nees and cried out, "Lindsey! Where are you?!"
