Inner Thoughts About Christian's and Catholic's
I think a lot of people today with their thoughts of Christianity are misguiding to others who want to follow in the path of Christ. Mainly Catholic's((As a general observation, don't get all offended on me alright?)) are against everything that Christian's strive for in thier faith. Let me say something about Catholic's and Christian's, they AREN'T the same religion and they DON'T practice the same faith. Christianity worships Jesus Christ our messiah, our savior, the one who died on the cross to repent for all of OUR sins. While the Catholic's more or less worship the Virgin Mary, Jesus Christ's mother. For some reason the Catholic's worship Virgin Mary just as much, if not more, then Jesus Christ. Personally I think thats very disrespectful to have the mother of Jesus to be worshipped just for the simple fact that she gave birth, especially more than Jesus Christ himself.

I have more to say...But for now I'll let you read this before continuing....

****************************************************
Here's some more of it....

I put my faith in Jesus Christ, for He has never led me wrongly. I put my trust in Him, for He has never lied.

Jesus and God have given me so much, they've brought me family, friendships, and most importantly, they have brought me love...I have only them to thank for these things...My merciful savior died on the cross for me, to amend my sins, he saved my life and many others. He has brought so much love to me and I am forever devoted to Him for that. I've never been happier and I hope that one day I may make Him proud of me.

FOR ALL THOSE PEOPLE WHO BELIEVE THEY MUST CONFORM TO CHRIST, and change who they are, you are seriously being misguided...Jesus doesn't care how you dress, of the music you listen to. The things you do don't determine or change Christ's love for you as an individual. It isn't your orientation, your lifestyle, or even your ethnicity/race, its your soul....Your soul is who you truly are, the purest thing in your entire being. I love my Lord and savior Jesus Christ, and am proud to call myself a Christian....

Still have more to add later....

*****************************************************

Alright here's some more for you guys to read.....

Look, just because I'm a devoted Christian DOESN'T MEAN that I'm at church EVERY Sunday, or that I'm always showing up for Bible Study on Thurdsay. Many people have the misconception that you must go to EVERY Sunday session, go to Sunday School, constantly read from the Bible and set your life completely by it, change who you are to be accepted, believe EVERYTHING you're told to believe, and NEVER question the Lord....All of this is exactly what I said, a very common, but incorrect, conception of what being a devoted Christian means.

I pray every night before I close my eyes in sleep, I pray for my family, my friends, and the people I love. I pray to Christ for them to be kept safe until they wake in the morning light, for their dreams to come true, and for them to be able to trust and follow their heart...I study the Bible, but I DON'T SET MY LIFE STRICTLY BY IT. I don't force Christianity on others around me, nor do I preach to them. I am far from a perfect model of a Christian, but I've NEVER pretended otherwise. My faith is in Jesus Christ and nothing anyone says to disuade me will change my faith.

FOR THOSE WHO QUESTION MY DEVOTION, THIS PART IS FOR YOU

You Catholic's want to say I'm the one showing disrespect? That since I don't put any faith whatsoever in Virgin Mary, I'm disrespectful? I really guess I can't see how that makes me disrespectful. The entire thing with the Jesus and Virgin Mary worshipping can be easily explained. You Catholic's saying that Virgin Mary should be worshipped over Jesus Christ listen to this, its exactly how you're treating this...

It's like saying if I were to become a famous singer and I made a national name for myself in this world, my mom would be even more famous and better recognized than I. Just for the mere fact that she gave birth to me. That wouldn't be right, especially because it would've been my hard work, lyrics, voice, talent, and determination, NOT HERS. She wouldn't have done anything to get me where I was, yet people would still look up to her, in my success.

Is that right? No, I didn't think so. Argue all you want with me and that metaphor, but I know it makes perfect sense and is completely valid to this situation.

Would you like to continue questioning my faith now? Go ahead, I'll take you on with anything you try to argue with and to justify your messed up religion.

Wow. I like the metaphor....intensely. I had never even thought of something like that, Cait. But you forgot one thing...

It's the fact that as far as being a Christian in concerned, I'd be right there beside you, telling off others because every single word that you just spoke is how I feel about my own life and the friends that interact with, but mostly my family because I have a lot of Catholic relatives in my family......

The point is is that you wouldn't be alone.....You're never alone when it comes to God..........
