Emmy was the daughter of two well-known adventure/Treasure Hunters. She was born a year after her older brother, Sven, and the two grew up together. One day a little after she turned 13, their parents didn't return from one of their trips. Sven took to being the big older brother and went about taking care of her.
Sven had already set up his dream when he heard about the everlight, but Emmy didn't like to hear about it. After losing their parents, she didn't want him to go and and disappear like they had. But nothing was stopping Sven when he had his heart set on something, and soon she gave up trying to tell him otherwise.
After being left alone for so long while he was off on his adventures, she finally gave in and went off on her own adventure. It was then that she discovered how amazing it was to explore so many different things.
Emmy picked to keep living with her brother and his student until he randomly off and disappeared one day. When word got back to the mainland that he had died, she ran off on her own. After about a year of traveling, and mooping about threwout the mainland, she gave in and went to the Legacy to be just a bit closer to her dead brother.
It was then that she ran into him at Werites Beacon and discovered he wasn't dead. Since then she's been staying with him since.

Emmy can be a lot like her brother. She can be hyper and silly but at the same time she can be snappy and stubborn. She can be clueless at times, and may come off as being stupid like her bother, but most of the time she does know whats going on. She loves to tease and have a good laugh. But when she's angered she isn't scared to use her whip to smack the person who caused her to get that way. Which half the time -- is Sven.
