Haven't been to this con for a few years even though it's in my hometown! It was really crowded. I think it's starting to get as big as Dragoncon. (minus the all night gaming and films)
The traffic was terrible and I didn't even get there until noon (and I had to stand in line for tickets because I didn't buy in advance) I got into the main room around 2pm and never met up with people I had planned on meeting up with.
The day was fun and I met many Gaians but none who I planned on meeting.
There were a few guys dresses as boxes who were funny as hell. I think they had more fun than some of the rest of us.
The party was fun, but a bit of a stampede as the many that were waiting to get in tried to get in all at the same time causing some trampling of others. I pulled a girl off the floor where she had fallen. I hope she is okay as it was as close to a trampling as I have ever seen.
