waiting standing by day by day watching children laugh and play she quietly waits for her one true love a handsome angel sent from above fall,summer,winter,spring maybe it was just a fling? no she thinks, i will wait for always until i can wait no more for the one i love and adore once i see his smiling face my heart will once again begin to race these tree's where the winter roses bloom are now the place where her memories loom he stood there looking into the sky he looked rather dashing and little shy he wrote her poetry he sang her rhymes and through it all they lost track of the time as the sun light began to fade they watched it leave under the shade he turned to her and whispered "dear i have been watching you for o so long Ive expressed my self through poetry and song to gain your love your heart your faith but now i must leave before i am late for me tomorrow will you be here? will you wait? she nodded and with that he left as she watched him go he slowly turned to let her know that he'll return for her upon tomorrow and so she waits dwelling in her sorrow as the rose petals blow with her hair in the wind her umbrella escapes from her grasp she chases the umbrella looking at the sky as someone standing in front of her catches her eye there standing with said umbrella in hand was her angelic mystery man he smiled at her and she smiled too then he said out of the blue "i had to get something its from me to you" and with that he slid a wedding ring on her finger as she said "I do" Violet_Valentine · Sat Dec 16, 2006 @ 02:38am · 0 Comments
