You say friend, I say lover;
You say child, I say mother.
You want constance, I need change;
You are fixed, I am ranged.
Head have patience, heart be true,
Though love is blind, so are you.
I always looked for something wrong,
Then I realized all along,
So resistant, far away,
We were parallel, as night from day.
Diametric, opposites made,
We will remain the light and the shade.
