ya!! I have hiked it twice!~

and both times in only one day..

on easter 2006 I hiked it and those dahm squirrles attacked and stole all my food! *sad eyes* you see as i was at the bottom of the canyon this FAT squirrl just comes right up to me when im laying right next to my stuf... like I was using it as a pillow, and looks right at me and starts to take my nuts and I just stared at him and said "Go away" all calm thinking maybe it didnt know I was there and I would scare it but nope.. I just looked at me for a second and stuffed its face with nuts. So I had to get up and scare it away and as I did all these normal sized squirrles like jumped there way to my food.. like leapfog or something and just attacked my food so I ran back to stop them and the FAT squirrle was all like soldier under the barbwire crawling to my food as if it could hide him and went for my food againl.. grrr.. anyway.. I hiked the trail plus the extra 4 miles with the bridge in one day.. no food.. no campsite.. not donkeys.. just my feet.. and only about 8 to 11 hours.. not sure... but for the sake of braging.. I did it in 5 hours so ha... hmmm feel kind of guilty.. so ya.. about 10 hours or so.. woof. but the sad part is that the thing that made us deside to do it was becuse i wanted ice cream so my dad said that if i hiked the canyon he would buy me ice cream.. but when we got back up the ice cream place was closed.. darn.. I guess I'll have to start earlier next time..

easter 2007

I hiked the trail again in half a day.. started earler so it was cooler, just me and my dad (my brother cant do it... sucker) and on the way up as the donkey trail was going up one of the donkeys got in my face so I backed up and it just kept comming at me so I was going off the trail a bit and it just started to follow me and since the mules are all trained to follow each other they all followed me.. so I stole a mule trail! muahahahahaha so I was named the great horse theif.. even though they were mules.. hm.. woof.. also on the way up there was this family that had to go up becase they lost there son who was complaining and on the way up he didnt even wait for them after they had to go back for him.. hm.. oh well we beat them.. and this time I got ice cream! ya!
