Betrayal In the Studio
Standing in the studio,
Staring out the wide window
I look away into the room,
A darkened place that’s filled with gloom,
The cat walks by, steps in some paint,
Then meows at me his proud complaint
I’ve not forgotten, I was betrayed,
T’was evil that that face portrayed,
I leave this room of deep despair,
Try to forget what happened there,
To lift a sad mask from my face I long,
To deal retribution, swift and strong,
The evil one will hide from me
But in the end I’ll win, just see.
