Chapter Ten
Obito pulled two chairs from one corner of the room, which he had only just noticed, and placed them at oposite sides of a small table. The table was positioned underneath several of the many windows that took up much of the wall space of the large room. He seated himself in one chair and motioned to the other.
"Seat?" He turned the worl into a question. Rei shook her head.
"No, Tobi-kun. I think I'd rather stand." Rei only gave Obito a glance over her shoulder as she strolled gracefully to a window near him. The afternoon sun radiated off of her face as her pupils dilated from the bright light. The small triangle shapes of her left eye whirred around the white pupil, moving much faster than they usually did. She turned around to finally face Obito, and used the windowsill to stand comfortably. Rei knew that this wasn't going to be a quick explanation. He waited patiently before her eyes focused on him.
"Okay, I believe I'm ready now, Tobi-kun. What do you want to know?" Rei's voice sounded cheerful, but it didn't stop the uneasy feeling building in Obito's stomach. He was nervous, yet he couldn't completely understand why. He was talking to Rei, the girl who had brought him back to life, yet he was afraid to ask her questions? She had set aside her time for him, yet he sat there, staring at her. Obito shook his head slightly to stop his train of thoughts.
"Erm, could you just tell me the basic facts about you before I ask anything else?" Obito twiddled his thumbs as he sat. Rei smiled at his opening request.
"Why, of course, Tobi-kun. My name is Inuzuka Rei. My birthday is August third, and I'm currently seventeen years old, although I'll be eighteen shortly. My mother is Inuzuka Tsume, and my father was the Yondaime. I have three siblings; Inuzuka Hana, Inuzuka Kiba, and Uzumaki Naruto. I have a nin-dog name Kimaru. I don't have a specific specialty when it comes to my fighting style, in my opinion, but I work with the children who have kekai genkai at the dojo. I"m part of a special ANBU team, and before that I was just a normal ANBU." Rei stopped speaking, since she had felt like she was rambling, and glanced at Obito.




Kiba's Birthday [ WIP ]

He could hardly hold in his excitement. Kiba ran from room to room, making sure to say hello to each and every clan member. He wasn't just doing it to be nice; he wanted them to say something in return.
It was his birthday, and it made him giggle in ecstasy when anyone reminded him of it. He had been doing this for the past hour, and was still hyper from the cookies he had let himself have for breakfast. It was his birthday after all. He should be able to have all the cookies he wants today.
"Okaa-san!" Kiba yelled as he burst into his parents' room. A familiar figure sat in the bed reading, her nin-dog sleeping at her feet. She stood up and moved to her son, while Kuromaru only gave him a curious glance with his one visible eye. Kiba's father was away on a mission, but the little ninja-in-training didn't mind, since he had left him a gift before he left.
"Kiba-chan!" Tsume called as she lifted the little boy from the ground. She swung him around in a circle before she nuzzled her youngest child.
"Okaaaaaa-san! I'm too old to be picked up now!" Kiba complained as he squirmed in his mother's strong grip.
"Not even by your own mother?" The saddened kunoichi questioned, although she complied. "Can I atleast give my little boy a hug?"
"Okaa-san! I'm not a little boy anymore." Kiba whined as he crossed his arms and pouted. Tsume chuckled at him and ruffled his hair, which only made him pout more. She waved her hands in defeat.
"Alright, alright. I'll have to try to get used to this." Tsume looked like she was going to say something else, but it was at that moment that the door to the room opened. Hana, along with the Haimaru Triplets, spoke before noticing Kiba.
"Okaa-san
