I have never had so much fun in my life! I mean, cripes! It was even better than I'd expected! They threw one hell of a party, that's for sure. We left around 6:00 p.m. to go and pick everybody up. After we arrived, we had maybe 10 minutes or so before Puddle of Mudd started. They were on stage for about half an hour, and preformed all of their most well known songs. I don't know if I'd buy the CD, but I do like these songs.
1. Drift and Die 2. Control 3. Blurry 4. She Hates Me
Next up was Staind, after a 10-15 minute stage change. I freaking love them. After this concert I have to say that I'm definitely going to invest in a CD. I wish I'd already had it by now. xD Staind has a lot of good songs, but they played all the favorites as well. Their lead singer is so mellow and down to earth, he's awesome.
1. Fade 2. It's Been Awhile 3. Outside 4. So Far Away 5. Price to Play 6. Right Here Waiting 7. Mudshovel *Bangs head*
Those probably aren't in the right order for Staind, since around the beginning our ears felt like they might start to bleed. We took a break, but we could still hear the music from outside the arena. Though a hell of a lot quieter. I'm kicking myself for forgetting to grab my brother's extra earplugs from when he went to the Electric Six concert.
Anyway! We went back for the last 2 songs or so, and waited for Nickelback to come on. They started the show out with a band (Literally), and then this heartbeat sound effect. They we so awesome though! They played songs from just about every album. Then there was all the fireworks and FLAMES they had on stage. That and the beer that they threw to people. I got beer on me. D': I saw it coming in the air, and was like, "Oh s**t that's going to hit me isn't it?" And it did. In my hair, all over my left arm, and on my brand new Nickelback shirt too. Can't forget the awesometacular heavy metal drum solo that the drummer from Nickelback did. He's really great, for sure.
1. Animals (Well yeah, they opened with this.) 2. Woke Up This Morning (I love this song...) 3. Savin' Me (It's on my pro!) 4. Someday (Love it!) 5. Side of a Bullet (Created in memory of a band member of Pantera that was killed on stage about 2 years ago.) 6. Because of You (They were already in a metal mood.) 7. Saturday Night's Alright For Fighting (The song my dad hoped they would play, and they did.) 8. Far Away (For the ladies in the crowd.) 9. Photograph (They had a video to go along with this one, it was cool.) 10. How You Remind Me (Well they had to play it.) 11. Too Bad (For this song, during the chorus they had everyone jumping up and down. It was so cool! gonk ) 12. If Everyone Cared (Inspirational. Or how they put it.) 13. Figured You Out (The song when before it was played, they asked the crowed if they were feeling naughty.) 14. Rock Star (Last but not least.) Again, yeah, these aren't in order. Just a few of them are probably. Either way I'm totally achy this morning. My neck, my back, my arms, and my legs all hurt. Then every so often my voice cracks. I guess it's the price you pay for having a totally awesome night. I hope they come back soon. That concert was even better than I had hoped.
Oh, and for the record I'm still in my PJ's, and I've only been up since around noon. domokun I was so pumped full of adrenaline that I didn't get to sleep until around 3:00 a.m., and then I woke up a bunch of times later. I might still need a nap yet.
