So yesterday I watched 'The number 23' and '300' back to back (with about 8 minutes of Naruto in between). After that I immediately went to bed, genius wasn't it? Reap paranoia into my system then watch a REALLY gorey movie with these creepy... erm, things in them.
So anyways I thought the number 23 was a really good movie, I'm surprised I didn't think Jim Carrey could do anything other than comedies. I imagined it would turn out horribly but it didn't. The movie had a bunch of hidden little references to the number 23 as well, I guess they paid a bunch of attention to detail in order to make everyone watching it paranoid. I only caught three or four however, I might rewatch it with friends one day (if any of you are reading this you're welcome to try and schedule somethign)
I wasn't particularly fond of the ending however, maybe I'm just missing something but it seemed lik so much more could have happened. I wish the DVD had an alternate ending.
So anyways now I'm looking into 'fracture' as I imagine it will be close enough to the number 23 in terms of paranoia inducing movies.
300 was okay, reminded me of mortal kombat for whatever reason (and I hate mortal kombat...) and the fight scenes were only decent, the only reason I enjoyed it was probably all the attention its been getting online with 'memorable moments' I honestly think some of the parodies have been much better.
Movies I plan on seeing: Balls of fury, Rush hour 3 (again, with friends) and Fracture.
moving on from movies to video games metroid prime 3 comes out in about 10 days (since its summer I'm not really sure what day it is other than its close to the 15th). I plan on picking it up ASAP, hopefully it will be as good if not better than its predecesors. A new DDR comes out in october and I'll be sure to look into that, I'll probably check out the song listing firt though. Still ironically Nintendo made the best dance pads (well, cheap ones anyways. I hear that cobalt is the best if you're looking to shell out 100 bucks) and I'm looking forward to seeing how the wiimote is implemented.
Of course SSBB comes out in December and I will definately pick that up, I'm reading the daily updates on www.smashbros.com/en_uk/index.html (UK english > American english) but I'm not obsessing over it as much as some other people.
Finally in gaia related news, I'm trying to get a nice role play started in a guild but I haven't found anyone worth inviting, the role playing prowess of gaians is pathetic on average.
I love the new summoning tome and the light sabres are cool too since they shut up alot of the petitioners, unfortunately due to my recently growing sense of good will I am almost perpetually broke. If anyone would like to spare a letter/tome I'd be really grateful.
Until next time,

And the new DDR is on the Wii? Whoa. I bet they're adding ParaPara traits to it if they want to add in the remotes. And I agree with the Nintendo pads being the best cheap kinds. I love the fact that the bottoms actually stick. But yeah. Cobalts are really good since I heard that they're durable and cool in their awesome way. Pretty much worth every penny.
I heard from Kat that you asked her if you, me and her could hang out for lunch one day. Apparently she forgot about that and told me about it a couple days/week later.
And I'm willing to buy you a tome if you want. As long as I still have about 5k in the end. I've started playing the MP game with Magical Brown Giftboxes and earned about 22k.
Plus, do you have some GameCube stuff-age to spare? I have no games to play and I need a game/remote/mem card to use. All I have is a Wii (and those can play GameCube stuff right?). *Le Gasp!* Do you have Cooking Mama!? One of the best Wii games EVAR. But yeah, I'll probably borrow Sonic Adventure 2 Battle and Tales of Symphonia if I'm allowed. Plus, I'm planning to trade Kingdom Hearts 2 for Animal Crossing whenever I get it back (Reeeeeeeally unbalanced trade there huh?)
And nothing shall beat the Japanese version of DDR Extreme. Damn, that version had every memorable DDR song. If you're wondering the songlist of Japanese DDR Extreme, I believe the Yorkdale arcade has the arcade version of it.
