Metroid Prime 3 came out a few days ago, I currently lack funds for it (about 10-20 bucks short at last count) so I won't spend too much money if I go out with friends, don't take it personally though.
I saw 'cirque du soleils' Kooza today, waste of a day if you ask me. Left at 11:45 had lunch at 1:00 then made our way to the tent, got there at about 3:15 then waited for 45 minutes in a packed tent that somehow was even hotter than outside with no drinks (5.50 for bottled water? No thanks.) and then watched the show. The show itself wasn't half bad though... the plotline of a series (preferably a manga but I've given up on creatint one since my artistic ability is roughly equal to that of a dead ape) I may publish a few chapters of it in journal entries if I ever get around to writing it... I assure you its interesting. Oh and I managed to get a cool top hat. Not sure if I should keep it or give it to a friend (probably Kat or My as I imagine you two would appreciate it best)
Piano is going well, I finally got a recording of the megaman 3 intro that I liked, I remixed MaxX unlimited (not very well though, it seems sort of off...) and Hikari is coming along nicely, I'm still looking for sheets to 'gerudo valley' from Ocarina of time and if anyone can find 'kazenone/song of the wind' (from final fantasy crystal chronicles I'd be really grateful.
In deathnote related news I now own the first 2 movies and am now addicted to danny california almost as much as snow (although in all fairness I was addicted to snow way before I watched the DN movie). It had a much better ending than the manga IMO,
spoilers
the way that L managed to beat Light made me happy inside, I always though L was smarter, and because he was set to die 20 days later it was a perfect ending, the two geniuses finished each other off
I now have the set of the 5 fingerpuppets that Near has (L, Kira, Mello, Near and Misa) and a chibi L plushie. I'm considering cosplaying Near for anime north and hopefully finding that dumb plastic L mask that he wears, although I'm having second thoughts about dying my hair white... AN happens before school lets out so I may have to put up with some laughter...
I still want to see Balls of Fury, Rush Hour 3 and Fracture but I've added War to the list. Jason Statham was great in 'transporter' and Jet Li is just great. Since school is starting it may be harder to find time to see it though...
Big Brain Academy is incredably addictive, I've managed to get about 250g more than the 'average person' yet Patrick is still beating me. I managed to close the gap from 120 to 80 today but I've still got a long way to go if I want to beat him before school starts.
I went to Lazer tag yesterday with Patrick and Kevin and it was sweet, I'm going to make it a yearly tradition at the end of summer, next time I'll invite more people ninja
Oh yeah, a few weeks ago I had a weird dream about someone who achieved superhuman physical abilities through looking inside oneself to quote a random character from said dream 'one hand out, two hands in and all that...' it was weird because I switched perspectives from him (Claude___ was his name, I can't remember the end but it was weird... Claudio perhaps?) to a 'normal' onlooker about my age to another onlooker about my age of the opposite gendre (that was after I woke up and went back to sleep in order to continue the dream, messed it up pretty badly too) being able to leap down an entire flight of stairs was soooo cool.
Lastly I managed to pick up the next 2 vampire hunter D books, this story was two books long so at least now I don't have to wait. I heard they may be making a new movie and that this story (Mysterious Journey to the North Sea) and the original (as a remake) were nominated. Personally I hope for 'Pilgrimage of the Sacred and Profane) as that was an amazing book. 'The Stuff of Dreams' was cool too. I recomend it to most of my vampire loving friends.
Until next time.
