Terrorists and Sympathy
alright so a while back, i watched the movie Air Force One, which was a great movie. i loved the fact that the president was actually both brave and smart (which brings to mind the question: how would Bush have reacted in that situation?). the part that bothered me was when they released the russian from prison, and all the rest of the people in the prison were happy and singing some sort of old Soviet Union song, and i felt sympathetic to them. like how all the people came together to sing and how they all felt so strongly about the man kinda hit my heart, and when the guy they were singing for was shot, i felt really bad. should i feel that way? i mean i kno its just a movie, but still, for a second i felt sympathetic to the supporters of the old Soviet Union. sometimes i feel the same thing happening when i think of the jihadists (for those of u who don't know what that means, those are the people in iraq who blow up cars in the name of Allah), i think, if they are brave enough to die for their cause, then doesn't it make them righteous in their own way? the only objection i have is that they kill other people in the process. so any way, i'm not exactly sure of my point here, so i say, good day, we shall speak again l8r
