My name on here is such because of two things. One: the Tyranids are the most awesome race in Warhammer. And Two: because I DO believe in the idea that a hive mind would create a better society.
For anyone that doesn't know, a Hive mind is similar to how bees or ants operate. Many working under a single collective consciousness. Like super communism (good kind, not the dictator kind) everyone in the hive works towards the good of the community. Individual personality is lost, but so much is gained!
First, there's no strife/violence within the Hive. petty things like jealousy, envy, hate, go out the window because now all is one. Productivity would skyrocket, as everyone would be working towards the actual evolution of the Hive. humanity would grow by leaps and bounds! And who's to say that the collective mind everyone shares wouldn't have some sort of personality of its own? Things wouldn't be as bad as everyone probably thinks.
Individuality is the problem. The Hive is the cure.
