the story goes on to chapta 2
Nate's point of view on the story: "DONE! i DID IT!" came the shout of a girl who was now 14 andhad the frizziest hair that day..she no longer wore glasses, but contacts, brown eyes, and she wore t-shirts and shorts. Colleen Rose Grady, or Rosie for short, had just completed what she would be calling her laboratory for quite a while. I dashed into the room saying, "What is? what's up?" Rosie turned around to face me, and said in excitement, "Do you remember when they put me in a cylinder case inside a huge lab?" I thought back to when I first met Rosie, and remembered her screaming for help and all that stuff. "yeah," I said. "Why do you ask?" she said, " Well I was able to memorize the designs to the whol lab, and I kinda downloaded the blueprints on finding chosens into my computer." This came to a total surprise to me. Some how, my new found sister had made our basement into a lab/basement/t.v room. I just hoped Mom wouldn't find it when cleaning....then again, Rosie and I were always the ones down there so Mom usually made us do it. By the way, Hi! I'm Nate, Rosie's adopted brother. I'm 16 with red hair so I fit in with our other sister Molly since she too is a red head. Rosie shouted to me saying, "Nate, look! It's a clue on finding the next chosen." "Really now?" I took a look at the screen and there was a sea shell necklace. I turned to Rosie and said, "Is this the chosen of..." she finshed my sentence by saying, "Mermaids? Yes, she is. Nate, this is Myrill, I've known her since the 3rd grade." I took a look at the girl. She had blue hair, (must've dyed it) a purple top, and green shorts. Her eyes were a deep hazle. She wore the sea shell necklace and she was a very pretty girl. "I also found the Chosen of the elves. Her name is, Christine. I just met her yesterday and I saw her leaf necklace." Rosie seemed very excited about this. She heard the doorbell ring and got the door. It was that Myrill girl. I decided to take a closer look at Christine, she had blonde hair and was wearing what looked like Chinese clothes. Training Chinese clothes to be exact. Rosie and Myrill came down to the basement and started talking on how to convine Christine to join them. Myrill looked at me and said, "Hi I'm Myrill Taylor. Very nice to meet you...ermm?" Rosie must've known that she was confused because she said, that's my brother, Nate." Myrill looked puzzled.."Brother? well how come I've never seen him before?" Rosie said, "It's because he's my foster brother." Myrill looked at us wide-eyed and must've understood. She said, " Nate? that's a nice name." She smiled at me and left with Rosie to her room. That's the end of Nate's story...for now..now you'll hear Christine's side of the story and how she's led to believe that Rosie and her friends are the bad guys. Can they snap her out of it?
