I'm having issues with one of my pet chickens. Something's wrong with her legs so that she can't really stand up or walk. She can't even sit very well. It's better than before though. She couldn't sit at all, and just layed there on her side. We've got no idea what's wrong with her and neither does the ag teacher. We've been keeping her inside and away from the cold and other chickens. She's got food and water near her that she can reach if she really tries, and everyday me and Mom try to lift her to her water so we at least know she's drinking. We think it's a vitamin problem and have been putting stuff in her water and giving her food with more protein in it. Like I said, it seems to help cause now she'll sometimes sit correctly rather than just flop over like she's dead. We're really hoping that she'll get better, though I highly doubt she'll ever be a good outdoor chicken no matter what the outcome.
