About a week or so ago,
I was on the phone with Josie,
And I was outside;
Now,
It was cold,
And I had on, like,
Two jackets. x3
But yeah.
It was night time,
And I was on the phone with Josie,
And I looked up at the sky and I saw something fly across the horizon.
I knew it instantly:
It was a shooting star.
I quickly thought about all that had happened,
All that might happen,
And all in all;
And I knew what I wanted.
So I wished.
The next night, I finally got to meet Darius and all that,
And about a week afterwards,
I broke up with him.
We weren't even together;
And what's worse?
He didn't want anyone to know that we were dating.
He didn't want his family to know.
So,
I lied for a few days,
And then I remembered all I went through with Clarence,
So I had to end it there.
Before it got worse,
And I got hurt.
Unfortunately,
I feel like I hurt him a little,
But he says he's fine. :/
Well,
A few days later,
I went to a birthday party for 'Liz.
[She used to go to our school, but she moved kinda recently.]
Well,
I went to her birthday party with Garrett as the driver.
From my house,
We went to Adam's house,
And we picked him up, and immediately he demanded I sit back there with him.
I was more than happy to oblige.
So,
I did.
We sat back there together,
And then we went and picked up Lance.
So,
There we were:
Garrett and Lance in the front,
And Adam and I in the back.
[I was sitting on Adam's left side.] [[This comes in later]]
Well,
We, of course, were listening to Avenue Q the entire time, and it was awesome.
We were all singing along to the ridiculous lyrics and dancing in our seats.
Except for Adam and I.
We just sang.
But I got to rest my head on his shoulder,
And it was so precious.
Well,
Eventually,
We got to the party,
And we stayed there 'till about 10: something or other.
Adam and I were running circles around each other the entire night,
And it was fun. <3
I don't know why,
But I just loved having him near me,
And simply having him holding my arm made me so happy.
After the party ended, Adam, Garrett, Lance and I all had to leave, so we went out there,
And Adam and I just hugged.
We just stood there,
And just embraced each other.
It was....wonderful. <3
On the car ride home, I had my head on his shoulder again.
It was so nice!
Well,
Once we dropped Lance off first,
We begged Adam to stay,
But he couldn't.
So,
As we drove up to Adam's house,
We were singing to "It Sucks To Be Me".
Well,
I did Kate's part, and as her first line in her first big part of the song came up,
Adam's head kinda turned a little towards me,
But in a wierd way....
His fingers were under my chin, lifting my head up as I whispered the line,
"I'm kind of pretty..."
Before our lips met.
For just those short seconds,
I had honestly thought I had died.
We pulled in the nearby church's parking lot and Adam put his shoes back on.
[I don't know why there were off. They just were. O.o;]
Well,
After he got them on, he turned to me again,
And he kissed me again.
His soft lips pressed against mine was the most amazing feeling.
He got out of the car and went home, and I went and got into the passenger's seat.
Garrett gave me a sceptical look of "Well?" and I said,
"I dunno." With a Cheshire Cat grin plastered on my face.
I couldn't stop smiling the entire ride home.
Oh!
We pulled into a gas station,
And Garrett went inside.
I stayed there in the car, and noticed I was receiving a phone call.
I checked it,
And it was Adam.
I quickly opened it,
And he asked me again whether or not I was single.
I told him I was,
And he said:
"Not anymore!"
