I woke up the next morning to an empty bed. I was still tired so I just laid in bed for a while staring at the ceiling which was quite boring. I had my own bed but sometimes I liked to sleep with Gerard (not in that way you so pervert!!). I finally decided to get seeing as the ceiling wasn’t very interesting and as soon as I opened the door, the smelled the sweet, yummy smell of… dunda da! Pancakes! I walked into the kitchen to find Gerard bent over the stove, sure enough, making pancakes and Mikey sitting at the table drinking his coffee… like usual.
“Morning Dad, morning Uncle Mikey.”
“Morning Annabelle,” they replied simultaneously.
“I swear, you two are too alike for your own good.”
“What makes you say that?” they asked, and you guessed it, in unison.
“Need I say more?!” Gerard and Mikey looked at each other and burst out laughing. I didn’t even know what was so funny but I laughed anyways because I’m cool like that. I sat down in the chair to the right of Mikey and hung out for a while, impatiently waiting for Gerard to finish those pancakes. Just to make my life more interesting, a sleepy-looking Frank shuffled in with his now long-ish hair all messed up and frizzy.
“Pancakes…” he said reminding me of a zombie. Finally, the pancakes were finished and as soon as Gerard set down the plate piled high with delicious, yummy goodness, I grabbed the plate and said,
“Mine!”
“It’s too early in the morning, just gimme my pancakes!!”
“Frank, it’s 10:26.”
“Exactly! Too early!”
Gerard and Mikey rolled their eyes as I dumped maple syrup over the whole plate of pancakes.
“Are you actually eating that whole plate of pancakes?” Gerard asked.
“Uh, no. There’s like, 50 pancakes on here!”
“Yeah… but you’ve gotta admit, you do some crazy stuff sometimes.”
“I know,” I said taking a bite from a pancake.
“Gimme a pancake!” I took an un-syrupy part of a pancake and plopped it on the table in front of where Frank was sitting.
“Gee, thanks for getting me a plate!” he said sarcastically.
“Your welcome.”
So we all ate pancakes and eventually Ray, Bob, Alicia, and Jamia (they were on tour with us) woke up and they had pancakes, and now we’re all just sitting at the table being bored. Go figure.
*1 week later*
It’s been exactly one week on Projekt Revolution and nothing extremely interesting has happened, except for the shows everyday of course. I always loved watching the shows, no matter how many times I’ve seen the band perform the same songs before, it just never gets tiring because each time is always different.
Right now, I was watching The Nightmare Before Christmas with Frank, Ray, and Bob for about the millionth time. Mikey and Alicia were already on their break”, and Jamia’s mom was sick so she had to go see her. Hopefully she would be back soon because all we ever do now is watch TNBC… except for Gerard whom I had no idea where he was at the moment. “Guys, I have something to tell you!!!!” Question answered.
“Argh, COMING!!” Bob, Frank, Ray, and I yelled at the same time, not wanting to get up. Ray paused to movie since he had the remote and we sluggishly shuffled out of the room Mikey and Alicia had previously inhabited. Still sluggish, we slowly made out way to the living room to find Gerard and the bassist from Mindless Self Indulgence, Lyn-Z, sitting on the couch. I had met her before (along with the rest of MSI) and she was really nice. And pretty. And an awesome bassist. Mikey…. Ooh, I bet you that they’re dating now!!!
“Hey guys, this is my new girlfriend, Lyn-Z. But you’ve all met before so there’s no need to introduce.” OH WHO’S GOOD!!!!
“Hello,” she said and gave a small wave.
“Hi,” Frank, Ray, and Bob said sleepily.
“Hey, hey guys, where’s your spirit?!” I scolded. They all put on obviously fake smiles and said,
“HI!” as superficially as they could.
“That’s better…” I said and couldn’t help but laugh. Then everyone else started laughing. Then there was an awkward silence. Effing wonderful.
“Well, I don’t know about you guys but I’m going to go finish watching The Nightmare Before Christmas,” I stated, breaking the silence.
“I’ll come with you,” Frank said and we walked back to what we now call, the extra room. Yes I know, very creative. I grabbed the remote and pressed play. Towards the end of the movie, I got up to get a glass of water, passing Gerard and Lyn-Z making out on the couch. Not a pretty sight. So I speed walked past them, poured myself a cup of water, and quickly walked back, all in about, 30 seconds. “That was quick,” Frank said once I entered the room.
“Yeah, well, Dad and Lyn-Z are making out on the couch so… you do the math.”
“But there’s no math involved.”
“So?”
“Well then it’s impossible to do the math if there’s none involved.”
“Okay well that’s great for you.”
“Awww, thank you!”
“Oh you’re so welcome!” I said and threw my arms around Frank as dramatically as possible. We shared a good laugh and got back to watching the movie which only had about… 15 minutes left of it. And yes, I know how much time there’s left by the parts of the movie just because I’m cool like that.
