What a stupid holiday. I mean really, how dumb can you get? It's one of those Hallmark holidays. Sure, all's fun in elementary school. Everyone gives valentines, everyone gets them, and there's candy. What more could a kid want? But you hit Junior High and it's godauful. There are some couples, but everyone else, whether they say it or not, just wishes it over. It's a holiday designed and guaranteed to generate revenue for card and chocolate companies, and unhappiness for all the single people. There's so much pressure to like it, to be involved. I'll give you an example: At my school, they sell carnations in the cafeteria. It's not really safe to sit anywhere. There are students wandering around press-ganging people into buying flowers who just don't understand that when I say, "No", I'm putting it nicely. I could say this: I have no cash, you twits! And I don't want your stupid f-ing flower. Here, give it and I'll show you. *stomp stomp mash mash throw away*.
And then there are the boys. Worse, if anything. They treat it like a big joke. Emotions are not a joke. You can't give flowers as a gag, turd-brains! It's not right, not nice, not fair in any way shape or form.
Not to mention it's (Valentine's day) a time for those who are in relationships to lord it over the rest of us. Yeah, rub it in. I have a few choice words for you. You know who you are! And if you keep being like that, I'll tell you what you are, in no uncertain terms. In no school-appropriate terms, either. Get out of my face, okay? I don't care. And if I do, it is only so far as to hate your living, breathing, stinking,b ragging guts. Don't make me hurt you, damn it!

The Book Of Remembrance and Forgetting
Hopefully, mostly remembrance. My New Year's Resolution this year was to keep a journal...this isn't exactly a chronicle of my exploits (though at times it becomes such) as a stream-of-conciousness narrative. Enjoy.
