Well, the District Manager came in Thursday, I made some suggestions to adjust the cashwrap area so we could put out a new product, and get rid of a bad seller, she liked both ideas and authorized them both and put them into effect! ^^ I also heard C-chan tell the DM to get me a raise, since Merit raises are comming up, she said "Which ever is more benifical for her- a merit raise or the other raise. Get her as much money as possible! We can change her from part-time to full-time because of her schooling, and she's already working full-time hours." And depending on what they do, I might qualify for benifits!!! Things are really starting to look up!!
Lately, I've really started being more of a manager, just last night, a customer came in with an issue with the candy she bought. Supposedly, there was plastic IN the candy. Good news for the company- it's not OUR fault, it's the candy maker's fault. So I had to call the DM, get statements, write my own, do a refund, explain the situation to the customer...<.< geeze...Oh well, it comes with the manager title...and the 3 years of working there. But I have a feeling this isn't the last I'm going to hear of this situation...
