A spider lives in my bathroom I swear
I saw it when I was washing my hair
As I cleared soap from my eyes
There it was; a great surprise
A little "eep" escaped from me
As I slightly slid on suds so soapy
It didn't move one little bit
Not even when water splashed on it
I slid into my towel dry
And in the corner I would spy
The spider only moved an inch
Only slightly did I flinch
I wondered what I should do
In case it came to my bedroom
But then I thought, whatever
It'll stay in my bathroom forever
And so it has, and so it will
I think I'll name this spider Jil.
