Other I grew up in Germany, and I loved it there. That's where my home was. I loved the weather and the people. Everyone was so friendly, and I was considered normal. Until, of course, I turned twelve, hit major puberty, and realized that everyone started talking about boys. What was so interesting about them? Honestly, I could find nothing to say when someone asked me, "Isn't he cute?" I would simply shrug, answer that he wasn't my type, and turned back to my book.
It wasn't until I was fifteen that I discovered that I was a lesbian. I had moved to America, much to my disappointment. Fortunately, to a down, there is always an up. I met Anna. She was the love of my life. My best friend, and my first girlfriend. A total sweetheart. She would do anything for me, and I for her. It angered and saddened me to see her move to Spain six weeks into our relationship. Because we couldn't handle a long distance relationship, we ended it. I was heart broken, but I recovered eventually.
I still speak with a thick, heavy German accent. That means I pronounce my W's as V's and my V's as F's. I don't intend on getting rid of my accent. It reminds me of home, a place that I loved. I love to read and write, but singing is my passion. I'm very fond of Disney movies, though it may seem childish. My favorite is Aladdin.
