"Hey polar!" he yelled."This must be the new comer.You had better take him to Xalda's room. Xalda has been throwing a fit.you know how bad he need ..um...whats his name?" he asked pointing at me.
"His names Michael" Xalda said coming from around the door."Polar I dont appreciate yo taking my holder with out permission!"Anger was in Xalda's voice.
I had to say something, "Its ok Xalda, Polar gave me a tour of Azira.It was fun."As I continued Polar gave me a look, and smiled.Xalda looked at me and gestured us to come in the house.
Once in the house I noticed there where at least ten people in the house.They all stopped and stared.Some whispered, other's just stared.
"Marlynx!"Xalda snapped. "Take Michael to his room."Marlynx shook his head and grabbed my arm.We walked through a dark hall. Many doors where in this hall but he stopped at the fourth one.
"This is our room." he said ,"you will be rooming with me."he looked at me, and noticed i was staring at his ears,which where pointed."Oh those."he said. "yeah you will get them soon.They are kind of painful but then you will get used to them.
Later that night, at dinner, we had some strange meat. Polar explained to me It was some thing called a Ramshi, a giant horned beast, he said they where very high in protein.I ate it. It had to be the best thing i had ever eaten.Until Polar told me the part i was eating was the a**l area.
After the meal, and a hour of throwing up, Xalda introduced me to everyone."This is Micheal everyone." Xalda said with a proud tone in his voice.
That night as me and Marlynx lay in the cold room. He asked me a question.
"why did Xalda choose you?" he asked sounding almost jealous.
"I don't know.I didn't even know you people even existed."I said giving him a hard look.
"Hey chill out." he said "I was just asking. Im pretty new at this whole thing too.I just had my pact made about three days ago."
"Pact? what pact?" I asked sounding disturbed.
"Xalda hasn't told you about it yet?" he asked.
"Told me what?" But before I could get an answer Shira stepped in.
"Xalda wishes to see you." she said, She grabbed my arm and led me out of the room and back into the dark hallway.We walked all the way to the end of the hall till we finally came to a door that was eerily lit by blue candles. The door opened by itself. I turned to look at Shira but she was gone.
"Come in" I heard Xalda's voice said from inside. I stepped in. Xalda was nowhere to be seen.But just as i was looking around I looked up to see a huge crowd of bats in a big bunch.They flew down. I stepped back against a wall.The bats flew away.And There stood the demon himself.
"Did i scare you?" Xalda asked smiling darkly.
"No, you didn't." I replied giving him the I-hate-you-look.
"Well i can see you want answers right?"
"Oh answers would be lovely, you can start by answering these: Why am i hear,What do you know about my father,And how do i get Nissa back?"
"Ok lets get down to business. You are hear to help me.I know nothing about your dad, And Nissa is here.
What! I couldn't believe it, Nissa was actually alive! But he lied about my father.
"Where is Nissa?" I asked coldly.
"Lets take a walk shall we Michael?" Xalda asked.
Once we were outside. We lead me through woods that really reminded me of the bike trail. Then we arrived at a lake. A lake that glimmered under the moon.
"This is the lake of bonding this is where pacts are made between humans and demon spirits,such as myself."
Before i had a chance to ask a question, a low growling came from behind the trees. Just then a giant Tiger with three eyes and a giant horn jumped in front of us.
Xalda didn't make an effort to do anything. I turned and ran.I didn't get very far before I was knocked down by this giant cat demon. The teeth of the thing where as big as my whole foot.He growled and snapped its massive jaws down. Xalda walked next to me as i lay on the ground kicking and screaming for my life.
"Would you like to make the pact?" he asked smiling his dark smile."I can save you if you say yes"
I didn't give it a second thought I agreed.Xalda smiled, stepped back, and cut his forehead with his own nail in the shape of an x. Then he put the blood on my face ,in some strange pattern.The tiger monster Reared its head high into the air and before its giant teeth reached my face everything went black.
The morning sun shown through the bedroom window.I lay on my bed and across from me Marlynx was asleep.It must have been a bad dream I thought.I want into the bedroom bathroom, and washed my face.I looked in the mirror to see a strange looking kid. with pointed ears,spiky hair,strange marking on his face and...I screamed as i noticed this person was me!
"Help!" I yelled and just as i screamed i heard a voice.
aw don't be upset I think its a good look for you.
I whirled around to see no one standing there.Then i made a startling discovery the voice was Xalda's, and he was in my head!
