happiness...is it but an illusion? life is nothing but a dream in our imaginations...we to each our own ideas and thoughts, but to some degree we are exactly the same...one with some unknown force yet divided into millions of pieces...could the world become one yet again? or was the world always millions of shattered jagged edges? Forever we lie here wasting our so called lives wondering what we never will understand...we all want to know things we know will hurt...and yet we continue to search and continue to look for what we know will hurt and maybe even destroy us...but sometimes, search as we must, we never find what we seek...we search and fail or search and suceed, but to what cost? No matter who is in power, or who is in our lives this will be self evident...no matter the people we meet or the people that leave us...and yet no matter how happy we get, sadness is always looming, always following...is happiness but an illusion? Is it the only thing we can count on to get us out of our depression? For some this may be true...for others it is saddening that we continue to search for what is not there...reaching out with both our hands to find what we know is not there...we still pray, though our voices go unheard as they fall on deaf ears...and we still cry though our tears show unto blind eyes...say what you must but we all know this to be the truth...for no one is free and darkness looms over us all...no matter how far we go...no matter how much we want it not to, it still does...escape is impossible and we know though we do not believe...we see but we do not learn from our past mistakes...history will repeat itself though, no matter what we do to change it...our destinies we decide but the Fates decide what will become of our destinies...the world shall fall yet rise...we shall become happy yet sad...tears shall fall but laughter shall arise...our souls may arise to heaven yet fall to hell...each one as black as coal and as sad as rain...yet escape we try but we fail and we are taken back into the cycle of endless confusion...
