I've had a lot of stuff on my mind lately... I'm going into the 8th grade this year, and I'm moving in my sophomore year of high school, so this may be the last year I ever get to see many of my friends... There's one in particular who I'm not looking forward to leaving behind, my best friend who has been like a big brother to me for years. I know I can always count on him if I need someone to lean on... But he's going into his sophomore year this year, so I guess it's time for me to move out on my own. I've started to notice that every time I talk to him, he seems more and more distant. It's starting to scare me! Oh, nii-sama, what's happening to you? You're ignoring me... Or maybe you're just growing up. It's about time I started. You'll probably never see this journal, but I wanted to tell you just how much I look up to you and how amazing you are. You were always there for me, even when my dad died, and it's going to be hard for me to move out on my own. But I have to, because we're not going to be together forever. Once I move, I'll give you a month before you've forgotten all about me. It probably won't even take that long. You ought to get started now, and try to forget me. Live your life to the fullest extent, and no looking back!
