Whee
If only the world would stop rotating for just a few hours, days, weeks, or even months so that I could catch up.

That's been my philosophy for this school year because of all the freaking things I've gotten myself into.

Atleast I don't have to worry about working on the robotics webbie any time soon. Whit hasn't emailed me with the pass word and junk yet, so I'm off the hook, for now!

Though, Mr. Suho will still probably go berserk on me. On Thursday, he came up to me when I was on my way to get the school pictures taken and asked me about newspaper. He said he heard that I was falling behind! That Mr. Wecker, our advisor, said I wasn't getting my work done... Which makes me mad.

I stayed up the night after an intense meet just to type my stupid article for him. I tried to add as much as possible... I tried to make it sound halfway intellegent... I even tried to make it interesting. I didn't think it was half bad. When he looked at it, he did say that it was short, but that he and Eric would fix that... and he took it!

He didn't even give it back to me so that I'd have a chance to fix it...I mean, I really didn't have time to fix it between Wednesday when I turned it in and Friday (TODAY...) when they were due, but he didn't even give me a chance. And then he goes and tells my robotics advisor that I'm falling behind...

Which makes me mad!!!

But yeah, I've had so much s**t to do this week it isn't even funny. I use every free period I have (and even every not free period) to do homework and study and catch up in just about everything, but it's just not enough.

At least the Calvacade of the Bands is over and I won't have to worry about morning band practices anymore. Mr. Werner has finally found a kind of morning band that agrees with him... and it involves us going outside and marching during our band class. I, too, think that it works out rather nicely. Now I don't have to b***h about coming to school at fricken 7am just so we can march for half an hour and go inside.

There are also a few other things I don't have to worry about anymore. I've decided to befriend the freshmen in band that I hate. They are in my section for concert band and I've decided to buy them all flowers.

14 people in my section equals 14 flowers... plus flowers for my friends... equals alot of flowers.

Our school's language clubs sells flowers for homecoming. It's really an ingenious idea. Some many people feel obligated to send their friends flowers and the French and Spanish classes make a fortune.

I've been thinking about maybe sending an anonomys flower to a certain somebody but I guess it all depends on how pathetically desperate I am feeling when I order them.

I see him alot now, even though I only share one class with him. Bridget just recently pointed out to me that it's funny that I acutally see him and talk to him every day when I was freaking out all summer about never getting to see him again after he quit band.

Ah Bridget, it felt so good to talk to you. I can't wait until our next phone conversation. It seems that cross country is the main reason for our lack of conversations, but I do love it.

There is absolutely nothing better than running through the woods, alone-ish and finishing with your best time ever. Just this past Tuesday, I ran the hardest I've ever run... I tried to keep up with the second slowest girl on our team... and I finished with a time of 27:39. I beat the same girl who had beat me two weeks ago by 2 minutes. I beat her by nine seconds... but in cross country, that is still alot of time.

I felt soooo good. I first found out my time when we were on the bus ride home and I shriked with pleasure. Cara thought I had gone insane until she looked over my shoulder and then she and I were laughing and hugging. I seriously can't think of any other time in my life that I have felt that happy.

She and I decided that when I break 25 minutes, we're both going to ball our eyes out. Maybe I can do that tomorrow at Bloomsberg... we'll see.

I also broke my record for fastest English assignment ever written. I some how managed to write an entire battle scene for Beowulf in less than 4 hours. For those of you who know me, you know that I am a super slow writer and could never, ever produce a piece of work that quickly... and I still have no idea how it worked!

But yeah, I'll probably never be able to do that again. I guess it was because it would have been really bad if I didn't finish it in that one night. I hate how I'm too busy for homework. xp

Anyway... I got to come home from school today. Like, straight home! We didn't have coss country practice and instead were told to just run whenever we felt like ti. So Daniel and I woke up at 5am and went running there. You'd be suprised what kind of wackos are wandering the streets at that time in the morning.

But because I came home early (or erm, on time), I finally got to have a good phone conversation with Bridget. And sit around doing nothing. You know, the works. It feels soooo good.

And the day is only going to get better because tonight there's going to be an awesome football game. We are tied for the NTL! Yeehaw!
