I love long weekends.
... though three days doesn't really seem that long.

Friday night was football free, but I really didn't do much. We had a hard workout, which meant sprinting various parts of our mostly uphill course... in the fricken pouring rain. It was sooo cold. I felt so bad for the two girl who wore light colors. I was wearing gray, so I was save from see-through shirts. Which is really really good when you're on a team with only seven dedicated girls and two-dozen guys. sweatdrop

We were there until about quarter after four, which was pretty early for practice to end, but we were all blue and shivering.. and it's hard to run like that.

When I got home, I stripped out of my wet clothes and sat around comfy sweats for the rest of the night. My dad's girlfriend stopped by and had dinner with us. Caitlin was having a friend spend the night so I made her and her friend watch after Kim's demon child. I like Kim more than I liked daddy's last girlfriend, but her child is the spawn of Satan, I swear. She's supposed to be nine years old, but she acts like 5. And she's so dumb. When we're sitting at the dinner table, all that comes out of her mouth are stupid questions. Like "How does water make ice," "If I don't eat beans, what will you do," and "What happens when babies die before they're born."

... and I thought my sister was stupid. stressed

But, yea, I just sat at this computer talking to my friends and gaming until Kim took her dumbass daughter home around 10ish. If only my dad could find a nice girl like Kim who doesn't smoke and has no kids.

Though, I am glad Lori is gone. She was so fake all the time... and so incredibly stupid. She was possibly as stupid at Kim's daughter.

-__-;;;

Anyway, that was my Friday. Rainy, cold, miserable, and all around annoying... and at first, I expected my Saturday to be the same. But at some point Friday, I realized that Saturday could be whatever I made it. If I boarded the bus cold and miserable, then that's the way my day would go.

When I first got on the bus Liz told me how sucky it was that we had to spend all day sitting in the rain at a football game where we wouldn't even be able to play for fear in ruining our instruments. But after I told her that this would be the first day since bandcamp that we could all be together and have fun, she even cheered up.

God it was fun. Four hours were spent on the bus and two or so at the game. And it didn't rain for the whole thing. Daniel and I took our three quadruple large golf umbrellas and the majority of the band fit under them. There actually came a point when the umbrellas could come down and we could see the cold cloudy sky. lol

The game was a drag. The school we were playing against is even more hick-esque than we are and most of their buff guys can never play football because they have to bring in the crops. But yeah, we won... but Mr. Dawsey did let them get one point. I heard him talking after our halftime show (which went pretty well considering our instruments were cold and wet) and he said that his goal is to never have a shutout game. I think that's really nice, though I would hate to be the team that only gets a touchdown against the Knights because it was given outa pitty, ya know.

The bus ride home was just sooo insane. I had so much dramamine and midol in my system that I was super screwed up. Everyone was so hyper and soo so much was said and done... like Eric's gay guy impersonation which prompted a hyeena laugh from Liz and an even better impersonation from Mike and then an even louder laugh from Liz.

I was right though; looking back on that bus ride, most of it was waaaay to stupid to funny ever again. rofl

When Daniel and I got home, I was soooo tired. So, for once, I was really happy to see that Kim was there making dinner. I really would rather have had Chinese, but warm food was waiting for me and I wasn't going to complain. I spent the rest of that night on the computer talking to people...

*wink @ Trina* Yea, you darling... I know all your secrets.

Sunday I had a serious band hangover. It was all I could do to get myself out of bed and put clothes on for mass. Liesl was singing acopella which is usually okay, but she seemed to hit some really of notes and my head was really hating her.

My dad thinks that I od-ed on meds before the game and he says that it's a miracle I was able to get out of bed. I wasn't allowed to take any medication Sunday, not even advil for my headache, because my dad was afraid of what it might do.

I mostly just lounged around all day and then went for a long run with Daniel that night... which was the longest hour I've ever run. I mean, usually an hour long run is super hard, but after the first half hour of it, I had to stop and throw up. I was on the bridge, looking across the river at the town. I had sent Daniel ahead of me because he needed to sprint the lenght of the bridge and back so I stopped in the middle, under a streetlight, and threw up over the edge. I really didn't want to but the bitter breeze hurt my head and made the lights of the town, dance, and in the end, I just had to do it. After that the run was alittle more enjoyable.

Today I feel a whole lot better. My legs are kinda sore, but I'll be able to work all the aches and pains out at practice today. I really don't mind having practice on a day off especially since the coaches are doing it after their inservice day is up which means around 2ish, I s'pose.

This week'll be fun. We're having a spirit week for homecoming. I bought flowers (and harassed poor Mat all week to make sure that he turned in the one special paper) and t-shirts and I'm all set.

Though, Trina, I think he'll figure out that I sent him that flower. I hope he gets a bunch of flowers so that mine is sorta put aside. I mean, I think that he's smart enough to realize that if you spent all that time talking about a secret admirer giving him a flower, then you obviously knew that someone had given him one, other than yourself. And the fact that I signed it 'just another admirer' makes it even more obvious.

Oh I dunno... I just so nervous about his reaction. I really don't want to be just another Heather in his life. rolleyes

Well, I do have more to say, but I also have alot to do, so I really have to go. I just hope I find time later to write more.

I really wouldn't worry about it so much...if he finds out, he finds out. It's all cool. You'd be a Godsend compared to Heather, I swear. xd

And you know what, it'd be better if he found out...maybe then something would happen between you two... wink
