It's been awhile. Over a year, I think? Since I made a new journal post. Granted it's not for lack of things to say nor is it because something happened to cause me to randomly HATE my WIP... I just... stopped?
I guess distractions took over. Being graduating high school... meeting Amy... well... I've known her for the better part of 6 years now, but I guess you could say we've gotten together. For over a year now! Huzzah!
Anyways, I haven't abandoned the WIP, although I'm sure lots of you who used to read this may think I did. Oh no, it's still slated in my mind to be finished. Not right now though. Right now I'm going to be leaving all of the posts ONLINE, but I'll be copying them down and re-editting and re-writing a few parts. It feels rushed and... I don't like that. So I mean, don't expect anything SOON, just know that I'm working on it!
Other stuff to comment on... well the gaming front is going strong! But there's just way too much for my little mind to handle. Currently I have Fallout 3, Dead Space as the big headers. Coming up is going to be Wrath of the Lich King (WoW; yes I know once upon a time I said I never would, hush), Left4Dead, Resident Evil 5 to name some of the headers that I've been following. It's an exciting year for the gaming industry... unlike last year rolleyes
On the literature front! I recently 'rediscovered' the Dragonlance series. More importantly, re-reading the War of Souls trilogy, it's followup The Dark Disciple trilogy and throwing in the classical War of Twins from way back. It resparked my thirst for fantasy novels lately... heading down to the bookstore ASAP to pick some up!
Anyways, christmas is coming! Now comes the years where I hand out more gifts than I get... and you know what? I don't mind. Last year I tried to impress Amy with some, I did ok I think. She still wears the necklace I got her, so thumbs up! Noooooo clue what I can snag her this year... maybe give her chocolate as a decoy, should give me an extra five minutes to find something!
I find I like hearing other peoples thoughts and ideas! So if you can think of any books, or perhaps on the off chance you can note a game I've been missing... post it here. Comment on anything I've said or god forbid... ask a question! Something has to go here and it may as well be stuff you're interested in.
