All of a sudden, time stopped, and a blue screen appeared in front of Mage with the words 'Attack', 'Magic', and 'Items' on it. "How's about, cheating?" He said to himself, and walked over to the frog, and began punching and kicking its head... A lot. When he finished, he walked over to the screen, and touched 'Attack'. He inched forward, and a '9999' appeared over the frog, then it died and vanished, leaving Flame there, bewildered and amazed.

"How the- What the- You... Are... AWESOME!!!!" Flame yelled, running over to Mage and jumping up and down, as if hyper... Like, really hyper.

Maryl ran out from the front door "Mage, are you alrii... Who's this baby dragon?" She asked, staring down at Flame.

Flame looked offended "I'm not a baby! I'm fourteen years old!" He exclaimed angrily.

Maryl quickly took several steps away "It... Talks?!" She asked.

Flame looked even more offended "Of course I talk!!" He shouted.

Mage crossed his arms "You two are apparently going to be the best of friends..." He mumbled sarcastically.

Both Maryl and Flame looked at Mage "What?!" They asked at the same time.

Mage looked at Maryl, then Flame "I should really keep my thoughts in my head..." He said. "Anyway, Flame, meet Maryl, and Maryl, meet Flame."

Flame looked up at Mage, then at Maryl, and with a hint of disgust he said "Nice to meet you..."

Maryl didn't say anything, she just crossed her arms stubbornly and turned away.

"Mage's screwed... So, tune in next week to see him try futilely to help them work out their differences!"
