OR LEAVE A STUPID .D LYING ON THE FLOOR NEXT TO A POCKET KNIFES!
THIS CHAPTER OF THE RIRE A.E.D AND IZM STORY WILL MAKE YOU BLOOD RUN ICE COLD!

Izm sped down the hallway, his hands curled into fists. Anyone that saw him threw themselves out of his way, giving him a wide berth. He wouldn’t have noticed them even if they hadn’t, all he could see was Rire’s head on a platter. All he could think was how long he’d waited to find the miserable ******** who’d messed up one of the strongest people he knew. A.E.D. was one of the few people Izm knew who actually had a good life ahead of them, the one person who even deserved that good life. And Rire just had to try and screw it up.


But then as he had his hand on the door handle to the main office he froze. The red was slow to leave him, the rage still bustled beneath his skin, crawling and irritating. A.E.D. was the reason he was so angry, so vengeful, and that reason was sitting on their bathroom floor mumbling despondently about teeth. He growled to himself, turning around and hurrying back to the dorms. He shouldn’t have left him alone…god, he was an idiot!


He ran into more people on his way back than he had on his way to the office. It seemed that because the look on his face was now more worried than hateful, it wasn’t a good idea to leap out of his way as he sped down the hall. Izm was getting more and more bruises as he ran into people, walls, the floor (Caleb had tripped him). Then he was at their room, swiping his card through the lock and forcing the door open harder than was necessary. He turned into the bathroom and stopped, his eyes wide.


“.D…?” Izm couldn’t move, why couldn’t he move? He had to do something…there was so much blood, so much blood…


A.E.D. looked up at him, frowning, “Your knife fell out of your pocket…”


The slits in his wrists were deep and wide, and they poured blood onto the tile creating a crimson lake between his legs where his hands rested on the floor. Izm’s switchblade lay mere inches away. He leapt forward suddenly, .D’s voice having snapped him out of it. He snatched the first aid kit out from under the sink, fumbling with its zipper.


“Why would you do this, .D?! C’mon, hold on, ok? It’s gonna be ok, it’s gonna be ok…”


“I’m sorry…”


Izm took the gauze out, finally having got the kit open, but as he wrapped it around A.E.D.’s left wrist, he felt as if time was speeding up, running away from him. .D’s eyes were closing, and his head leaning forward.


“No, no, ********, s**t, NO. .D, c’mon, it’s okay, you, stay awake! C’mon!”


“Sorry…’m just tired…”


“Sleep is for the weak!” Izm cut the gauze and rifled through the kit looking for those pins that .D always used to keep the wraps tight. He had trouble getting it on so he tucked the loose end under the layer just below it. Doing the same for the other wrist he grabbed the knife off the floor and pushed it closed, shoving it in his pocket.


“.D, c’mon!” Izm cupped .D’s face in his hands, forcing him to look him in the eyes.


“s**t!”


His mind was scattering, he couldn’t think. He had to call someone, he had to get .D help. He had to do something.
