Did it start with a birth
or a death
or just a word that popped up
and became widely used?
Where does

go?
Does if just float about
in words
and disappear?
Does it exist in floors, in walls
hiding within the wires and wood?
And,
when mentioned,
does forever squirm out of our grasp?
Can you
touch
forever, and see where it starts
or where it ends?
What do you mean when you say

How do you know what something will last-
love,
life,
words...
Where do they all go
with forever?
Can forever really have a start
or an end
or maybe it never did?
