It's a sad world out there, really. I sit back and watch as people caramelize their tension into a sickly sweet war of love and hate. Sometimes they just don't understand. Poor, scatterbrained fools. Don't they see? So blinded by their own confusion, by their own selfish wants. They don't need this insanity, this creamy filling they call fury. The cake of it all, the creme de la creme, as they would say, is the joy they get out of pain. Ah, the sweetness of it all- humans seem to savour that wonderful, unforgettable flavour of pain. Ans what do the rest of us do? Nothing. We watch and inhale that sent which we see intoxicated by the sound of screams and seduced by the play of lies. I mean, it's candy, right? The way they flaunt their power their ability to cause pain... That's candy to humans. Our tasty treats come with a nasty aftertaste of selfishness, though. There's not an inkling of hope, not one chance that we'll be able to stop ourselves. Obviously, it's not even feasible. Our bleak world, hampered more by our kudos to hate. We don't think enough for ourselves to pull away from this need. We conform too much, listen to the words that are lies and let them seep into our skin; listen to the truths never have we, and just gone along with the lies. There's no chance we'll stop. The play will keep running, the world will keep spinning, and we'll drown in our own hatred. But I'm just human, so what do I know?
