It was just a minor scratch, no need to go ballistic, but she did, she always does.
I do not even remember what caused this "scratch," but it must have been something bad to have made me make it visible.
Covering it with a band-aid (I thought) would make it look accidental.
Apparently not.
Eating dinner peacefully, I could feel my parents' eyes undressing every lie I would soon wrap around myself.
"How did you get that cut on your hand?" I knew no matter what I said to her, she had assumed otherwise.
So I thought I'd BS instead of improving well. "Bloo."
That was all I said.
No huge explanation. Why bother?
"Bloo did that" No idea if that was a question or a statement, but she was not repeating my reason to try and believe, no, she was making fun of my answer.
"I didn't know Bloo could scratch so sharply. That looks pretty deep."
"Well apparently she can. It isn't even bloody. Just leave it alone." Defending myself would not help once my dad would begin.
"Your mother is right..."
Oh god, here it comes
"She's always right in your eyes, dad. You never take my side. I'm blood here. It is only a little scratch. Don't get your panties in a bunch over this."
His best arguement was changing the subject to have me see her side.
"She's your blood."
At this point my brother excused himself, my mother following.
That idea was in my mind 1st.
Hell, I was the 1 being interrogated!
So I put my plate down and headed for the door.
Before leaving, I said: "I didn't ask for that. Did I?"
I tugged open my joor, pulling out my knife. I did not care if people would see the damage caused.
I want them to know! Some1 let me leave my home!
While I cut and cut, I thought about the hospital, how I miss it.
Come to think of it, I have been pondering going back to the mental hospital for quite some time now.
I miss my friends, and I miss Hannah.
I loved it there without my parents. I would constantly beg the staff to let me stay longer.
Maybe I should go back.
Or maybe I should go somewhere and never return.
I already know with whom.
