The Lunarians and the Solarians: two rival angels who will have nothing to do with each other. The Lunarians live in Lunal, a city among the clouds, while the Solarians live in Solay, a hidden city surrounded by a lush garden. Since the beginning of time, these two races wanted nothing to do with each other. Could there ever be a relationship, no matter how small, between them?
"You've come a long way to help us win this war, Trace," the King of Lunal announced. Trace was being honored for the feat he accomplished during the Two Blade War. It was because of him that the leader of the Solarian army, Zail, surrendered. However, Trace wasn't trying to show mercy; he just didn't like the fact of killing.
Ever since Trace was born, he had a longing for music. His passion for creating beautiful melodies was second-to-none. The idea of picking up a sword never occurred to him. However, it was required for all men to enter the army at the age of sixteen for five years.
Around the time Trace joined the army, the Solarians waged a war against the Lunarians for reasons unknown to the public. He was required to fight in it even though he had no idea why he was fighting. For a year the battles between the two sides didn't cease. It wasn't until the fateful day that the war was given its name that the final battle began...
Trace fought through many soldiers, receiving little wounds. Although he didn't enjoy the fighting, Trace knew that if he didn't fight his hardest, he would die. After fighting through what seemed like hundreds of soldiers, he made his way to Zail, the leader of the Solarian army.
Acting on instinct, Trace fought better than he ever did, seeing as how his enemy was the leader of the rival army. To his surprise, Trace was able to overpower Zail. After what seemed like years, Trace got Zail to bend down on his knees, begging for mercy. Trace, hating to resolve everything with violence, spared Zail and got him to surrender to the Lunarian army. It was because of this battle between Trace and Zail that the war got its name: the Two Blade War.
A massive ceremony was thrown after the war to honor Trace. However, he didn't have a good time at all. Maybe he was feeling guilty for the lives he destroyed or the blood he shed. Either way, he needed some way to relax and clear his head from the thoughts of this war.
Trace was allowed to retire from the army because of his amazing feat. To relax, he traveled to a massive forest on Earth. Being extremely tired, he laid down near a small lake and took a nap, glad that he wouldn't have to think of those Solarians again for a long time. However, his hopes would soon be ruined...
And those ruined hopes would lead to the best thing ever to happen to him...
