Today, I must say, was a very good day. It was the last day before Thanksgiving break starts, so it was awesome in itself. We got our report cards in homeroom, before first period (I only have two Bs, and six As). In firt period, we did the little carreer assessment thing. One of my possible results was radiologist. Then there were some others I didn't bother to remember. We had a sub in Spanish, so we did a crossword puzzle and watched 'La Sirenita II- Regreso al Mar'. That would be 'The Little Mermaid II- Return to the Sea.' ^^ Third period was awesome. We did our recital, then we sat around, eating cookies and chips and dip. It was fun times. Then there was lunch. I read through that. Fourth period was pretty awesome too. We didn't play our band instruments at all. We just hung out because Mr. Thayer had to do tech stuff, so we got to go hang out in the piano room, or watch a movie in the band room. A lot of us went to the piano room. I was helping Cordell and Emma with their games of Text Twist and getting on Gaia.
Immediately after school, we went to go see Harry Potter (Torrent, Naoko, Toge, Narutard, Torrent's mom, me). And let me just say...
IT WAS SO FRICK FRACKIN' AWESOME!!!!!!! EEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE!!!!!!!!!!
But I'm not going to say anything about it because that would probably spoil it. My mom said that I can't say anything until we go see it next week with the rest of my family when we're in Pennsylvania. Soooooooo........
After that, we went to Torrent's house to have pizza and cheesy bread. We hung out for a while, using people cell phone cameras to take pictures, playing with Jackie (Tori's dog). Theeeeen...
We went to the Battle of the Bands at Southern. That was fun times. We saw...(I can only remember some of them) Mom's Toolbox, Split Ends, Sonic Bloom, and finally, our very favorite, Every Waking Hour. We're fangirls now (except Narutard. He wasn't really paying attention.) Unfortuantely, Every Waking Hour got second place. They definitely should have gotten first...Especially since Tom (one of the guitar players) managed to break two guitar strings, then bleed on his third guitar. That takes incredible talent. Tyler (bass guitar) threw his guitar pick into the audience (Toge got it). At the end, Henry threw his drum sticks out over us. I managed to get one (by stealing it from Toge because she already had the pick). t's my new treasure, so that one day, I can say "This was Henry's drumstick. We liked this band before they were insanely popular." And Greg and Quigley had a dance-off. They're our school's comedians. Some day, they're going to be famous. I can say I knew them before they were famous too. ^^
So, in short, I have one drumstick. Nyah. Ha ha. Ha ha.
