Story of my life... It won't take a genius to know that I'm Italian. Okay, half-Italian. At least, my dad is. My mom's American and I was born in Italy but and raised in America. My parents' story is about as romantic as these things get. They met when my mom was twenty-one and my dad was twenty-three. She was backpacking with some friends around Europe and it was love at first sight. Or so they told me. Not too long after, my father came to the America to ask her to marry him. He was willing to leave his family behind for the woman he loved. So that's how the story goes. Her parents were outraged but, when I was born and they got to see their adorable little grandson, all was forgiven and everyone was happy again.
It's safe to say that I've lead a very happy life ever since. My only regret is that I never had siblings of my own. My parents went to a lot of doctors but she could never conceive again. It's a mystery. So, instead of siblings, I keep pets for company. And I'm also friends with the Davids. They're all really cool. I like to treat them as my own siblings, and I feel a bit like part of their family, too. When I'm not hanging out with them, I'm helping out with the family business, which is a restaurant that my mom runs. I either help out my dad in the kitchen or as a waiter. It's really fun and I get to meet a lot of interesting people.
