Volume One: Hot For Teacher

Kei Kusanagi isn't your typical 15 year old high school student. He's actually an 18 year old with a rare disorder that puts him into what he calls a "standstill". When he was younger, this disorder left him in a deep coma which stunted his growth for the next three years! Mizuho Kazami isn't your typical teacher either. She's actually an alien sent by the Galaxy Federation to observe the Earth! As the sole human being with knowledge of Ms. Kazami's secret, Kei must... marry the alien?! Homework, dating, and a gorgeous wife - going to school has never been quite this fun!

Volume Two: Meet The In-Laws

Kei and Mizuho's honeymoon summer is interrupted when they discover that myosuke and the gang are vacationing there, too. Though the honeymooners can't seem to get any time alone, the buds of love begin to blossom for another unlikely couple. Things don't get any easier when they get home. Mizuho's sister, Maho and her mother, Hatsuho, visit Earth to, respectively, express their protest and delight to the newlyweds. Now Kei has to dodge the death threats of his sister-in-law and the romantic advances of his mother-in-law, as well as play cupid for his friend! Will Kei ever have the chance to say those three simple words to his teacher?

Volume Three: The Honeymoon's Over

The newlyweds begin to settle into a routine but they still have trials. One night, Kei's love for Mizuho is tested when Loishi asks him to meet her so she can profess her love. At the same time, Kei must fight feelings of jealousy when Matagu asks Ms. Kazami for help with his homework.

Meanwhile, love is blossoming for Kaede and Hyosuke. And for some reason, Ichigo is really eager to set Koishi up with Dei and collapses from the strain of seeing her heartbroken. Not wanting to see Ichigo suffer, Kei decides to end his extra-carricular relationship with his teacher and go out with Koishi. Can Kei really make everyone happy by running away from his true feelings?

Volume Four: Hello Again

Distraught wver his feelings for Mizuho, Kei has slipped into another 'standstill'. In the depths of his mind, Kei meets a phantom from his past with whom he discusses the joys and sorrows of life. Back aboard her spaceship, Mizuho pleads with Kei to wake up while recounting all the experiences they've shared. In order to save Kei, Mizuho must break Galaxy Federation rules and enter Kei's mind to convince him that without misfortune, one can't truly appreciate happiness. Kei awakes from his 'standstill' but his and everone else's memories of Mizuho have been erased. How can Kei move forward with his normal high school life when he's missing a piece of his heart?
