hello one and all. its me again. typing an entry just for the fun of it.
nightmare: so what do you have to tell us this time around.
gwee: youre typing a lot of entry's these last couple of weeks. what gives?
well games thats what. lots of games in fact.
gwee: you gaming person you. well lets hear it then.
well lately ive been reliving some of my older games and together with my new games its getting quite hectic. i simply want to play them all at the same time. so lets make a list of the games that i am playing. in no perticular order they are:
disgaea ds
archlord
scorched 3d
harvest moon a wonderful life
spore expansion
GRAW 2
yu-gi-oh the card game and the pc game.
gwee: now that is a lot of games to play.
spirit: thats nothing, now he's probably going to talk about each and every one of them.
indeed!!
spirit: told ya.
well lets start of with disgaea shall we. as you might have read in a previous entry its a strategy rpg. im not playing it that much at the moment because of the huge amount of training i need to do to advance. and after a while just training i do get kinda bored.
gwee: next up is archlord. a golden oldy.
well not that old but a nice game to say the least. i havent played it in a while but now that ive picked it up again its getting to be fun to play. its an mmorpg and to my opinion a rather good one. for the moment where not really training all that hard. mostly me and chaos are making potions to turn ourselfs into animals.
nightmare: animals? are you kidding?
nope not kidding. every animal we chance in to has different effects. like increased attack or increased speed. we dont use them that much but since ive started making them again ive gotten 4 to 5 million gold richer so there is a good market for them.
spirit: are we done now?
nope afraid not. next on the list is schorced 3d. a fun little game i saw the website of in a magazine. so i decided to give it a try since it was free to download. as for the gameplay, picture the game worms then replace the worms with tanks and make the landscape a bit more realistic. you are basicly a tank out to destroy the other tanks. you set the elevation, power and direction of the shot and see how fast you can kill the enemy. its mostly against bots but there is an online function to it. thats about it. very simple and no story.
gwee: only a couple more to go.
harvest moon a wonderful life. a difficult game to discribe. youre a farmer who just got youre first farm from your uncle or something. now its youre job to get it running and eventually get a familly. im now at the point where things start to pick up. i already have a wife and kid and the farm is looking good. my daily chores are just milking the cow, taking care of the other cows, taking care of the chickens and there eggs and finally taking care of the crops. nothing too difficult and an overall nice game to just play for a couple of hours.
nightmare: my god you play a lot of games.
spore expansion. well just think big guns on youre own creatures and thats all there is to it. for more see previous entry.
gwee: well that was a short one.
then we have GRAW 2. a first person shooter. ive just installed this and it does run but it has a big lag. i wont go farther then the shooting range but thats all i need. i have played the missions before but i just like to pick up a gun and start shooting.
nightmare: you know, everytime you say something like guns or shooting youre eyes start to twinkle a bit more. i wonder why?
and last but not least we have yu-gi-oh. first lets talk about the normal real life card game. seeing as how me and chaos have compiled a nice deck we battle every so often just for fun. we dont see the other player but you have to anounce each move so its not that big a deal. of course we do end up asking what the heck is still on the field. in fact we do ask that a lot. to be hones if you want to play it this way you need a pretty good memory and you need to be familiar with the effects and powers of each card.
gwee: so thats one part done.
now we have the pc game. its the same thing but now you always fight one character who changes in level depending on how much you win from him. as his level changes so does his deck. and every time you win from him you get some new cards. i havent played it that long but already my deck is shaping up slowly but surely. i did have a great deck built up about a year back but unfortunatly that deck was lost when my computer crashed. so im now back to a standard deck and just adding the good cards as i go. the fun part is that is has an online function sort of. well more of a lan function actually. me and chaos can play it when im at his place. it just goes a little bit more smoothly and you cant mistake card effects. (you cant cheat with it either).
and thats about all the games i currently want to play. right now im in the mood for some harvest moon but i still have one more thing to mention.
spirit: youre moving out of the house? youre going to die? you give all of youre stuff to me so i can live happily after all?
what?? no, heck no!
spirit: damn.
no, i was refering to the efteling.
gwee: the what?
its an amusement park. me and chaos where planning to go there and since its his birthday (or actually has been) we decided to invite everybody to go there.
nightmare: you in a public amusement park. somewhere that doesnt ad up.
yes well as much as i hate other unknown people. i like rollercoasters.
nightmare: you like rollercoasters?
yep i do. when i was a kid i use to be afraid to go in them especially the ones that go upside down. but a couple of years back i went in one that didnt go upside down and that was real fun. after that i couldnt get enough of them so i decided to try one which went upside down. and let me tell you it didnt dissapoint. since then i love the things. as long as i dont get wet. i hate water.
gwee: so does anybody now about this?
sure, a lot of people do. in fact some people even got more respect for me when i went in one that nobody wanted to try. they where scared as hell and i was having the time of my live.
spirit: makes you feel more than the others doesnt it?
yes is does. and it feels good.
nigtmare: say this is a long entry for youre doing. why dont we wrap it up?
hmm might not be such a bad idea. o no wait there is more news.
spirit: even more news? please save us.
this friday we will al be going to chaos's house.
spirit: not if i see shadow where not.
gwee: well why not. we can see you two kicking each others @$$.
and yes spirit youre coming shadow or no shadow.
spirit: okay but its going to get ugly i tell ya.
relax we outnumber his crew 3 to 4.
and of course there will be a sleepover thingy going on.
gwee: what? where sleeping there? thats new.
well all of that will have to be done in an other entry. so enough rambling for now and see you all soon.
spirit: not if i have anything to do about it twisted .
