well hello all. its that time once again.
Gwee: aha time for another entry i see.
indeed it is.
Nightmare: so what are we typing about this time?
well mainly about guildwars and my day at chaos's place.
Gwee: lets start with the first and then move on.
well if you say so.
now guildwars. what is there to say. is it visually better then archlord...yes. is its gameplay better then archlord...yes. is it in every aspect better then archlord. heck yea.
Gwee: wow that aint no small feat to accomplish.
well if you give it some thought it actually isnt that hard. the graphics in archlord are medium. they do their job but you dont go wow over them. now in guildwars thats a whole different level of detail. there have been spots with a great view and which had me going wow. there are enough parts that are way better then it so graphics wise i give it a nice 8.
Nightmare: a very good score indeed.
now next up is the gameplay. simply put it does its job. its easy to understand and easy to use. bassicly click and point. now granted archlord has the same things but its slightly less efficient. some things are just explained a bit better. overall a good 7.5.
Gwee: another good score.
now lastly just some rambling about the difference before archlord updated to a new host. in the good ol days archlord was pretty good. there was a lot to do and i didnt have a lot of complaints. yes the pvp was a problem in that you could kill about anyone who was level 30 or higher, but still we could enjoy the game. now after the "upgrade" every time someone kills you they get some of your items as well. so say you just got a really good item and someone just decides to kill you then its bye bye item. also the change in the marketplace is a let down. in the old days you could just throw youre stuff on the marketplace and sell them. now you first need to pay a certain % of youre selling price and then just hope for the best. if you had an item which was worth alot you couldnt even sell it if you had no money.
Nightmare: now it would seem that archlord wasnt that great to begin with and it just got worse from there on out.
well im sorry to say that its the truth. now guildwars has a lot going for it. its not perfect but i dont really have that many complaints against it. now that i think about it i think i really only have one and thats the level cap of 20. i would have loved to go to level 99 or even 50 but 20 is just to low. you practicly level 20 once the story really gets going so its not that hard.
Gwee: now lets talk about the day at chaos's place.
ah yes. well to be fair it wasnt as great as i had hoped. the movie which i had picked was not as good as i hoped it would. now we did have some fun in motor storm and graw but i guess chaos wasnt in the killing mood. he never really is now that i think of it. cant blame him though, i do tend to kill silently and without a trace. most of the times i kill without him even seeing where i shot from.
now im not going into to much detail here because lets face it, i type the same stuff every time i come over.
Nightmare: say where's spirit by the way. havent seen him around.
Gwee: yea i expected some stupid remarks on his end.
well we just had a nice little talk about how he should behave around me. and after that i kinda locked him up in a small box to think about his sins.
Gwee: that'l teach him
i was hoping yea. and if not then i always have more weapons to aim his way.
