|Yes... a sad little thing based off of an RP I'm doing... The character isn't actually mine, but I felt compelled to write it. T-T Sorry, Hyp, if he's not the way he's supposed to be.
This is a possibly alternate ending to the RP, or maybe a dream the singer had. Sin is my character. Not very good, but I just felt like writing it... *shrug* Enjoy.|

Fans screamed as Orion's Belt took the stage. Everyone knew this was going to be the biggest concert the band had performed in their history together. There was just that feeling in the air that something extraordinary would happen. Excitement hung in the air in an almost tangable cloud. The fans that had won the contest had all left, save a few who had paid to attend the concert. Everything looked to be ready.
Finally, the sounds died out as the members took their places, ready to do their thing. Chi was ready to walk up and introduce everything, but Hiro took the opportunity first. He stepped up to the mike, a sad smile on his face. A deathly silence had fallen over the whole congregation.
"As you all know, one of the fans who came to visit with us for three days was killed on his way home yesterday." The voice was soft and even, an almost eerie calm accompanying that sad expression. "I wanted to start off the concert with a song for him. This is for you, Sin..." And with that, he took a step back. He looked at the others, giving them a signal and the music started.
He'd arranged it the night before without the concent of any of the managers. But everyone seemed to agree with him. Even if they didn't like Sin at all, they felt slightly responsable for the boy's untimely passing. Quite literally, if he hadn't won the contest, he would still be alive...
Taking a deep breath, Hiro started to sing, his voice soft and sad. It was a quiet, mellow song, used to suit the mood. It was beautiful, and something that hadn't yet been released to the public. It was supposed to go out on the next album. Hiro felt it approapriate as a tribute to the one person he'd cared about, snatched away from him because of minial, petty things.
Most of the crowd was crying by the time the song was over. Even the strongest of males, accompanying their girlfriends but wishing they were elsewhere, had tears in their eyes. The vocalist had put heart and soul into his voice to produce something so soft and infecting that no one could get away from the feeling it left in it's wake. A feeling a calm, a feeling of sorrow, a feeling of emptiness.
There was a moment of silence as the music died away. "He didn't deserve the death he was given." Hiro whispered into the microphone. Carefully, he took a step back, his hand reaching behind his back. Normally, that was were the mic was stored so it wouldn't be a hindrence, but in this case, he housed something else as well.
"Sin wasn't killed by a plane hijacker. He was killed because of me, and he didn't deserve it." Again, that voice was eerily calm. Whispers started up and faces stared at the singer almost curiously, wondering what it was he was talking about.
"I was planning on skipping the concert tonight." Hiro continued softly. Even the band members were trying to figure out what it was he was saying or thinking. Chi would have jumped in and told him to be quiet, but she, too, was completetly baffled by the whole ordeal. Hiro was acting on his own and no one knew how to take it.
"I had purchased a ticket to the states, so that I could accompany Sin. But while on the plane, a man stood and shot the boy with no second thought, not even announcing his presence or his reasons. It was obvious he wasn't a hijacker. He wanted nothing more than to kill an innocent boy for falling in love with the wrong person."
More murmurs erupted from the crowd, who was growing more curious and, for some, impatient. But the singer of Orion's Belt didn't seem phased by this at all. He merely stood in silence for a moment, soft eyes drifting toward the darkened sky. "He was kind and considerate. He didn't deserve what he received. But even as his life slipped through my arms, he had a smile on his face. He was happy to just have experienced the things he had in his life. He wanted me to be happy, even though he's been taken from me for no reason at all."
That hand slowly came back around and there was a general gasp. In Hiro's hand was a handgun. "Sin... I'm sorry for everything that's happened to you. But I'll do as you wish and not take this out on anyone. You knew my temper might get the best of me. So, instead, I'll join you."
And then it clicked what was going on. Unfortunately, it was too late. Cold metal rested against the singer's temple. Before anyone could react to stop him, there was a loud bang and the singer's body slumped to the stage floor. The gun slipped from lifeless fingers, blood coating the soft, dyed blonde hair. Screams filled the night, followed by sobs.
No one had seen it coming. But that's the way life works. The death of innocence. The loss of love. The empty feelings of a soul who has lost everything. But, sadly, life goes on...
