I walk to Professor Brandon's class and see myself concentrating on the auras of students who didn't care about life. One particular person interested me though. I couldn't see his face, but he had an intriguing aura. It was a color that I have never seen from anyone before. A dark gray color like he was concentrating on something totally different from others.
I couldn't tell anyone that I had my scars though. No one in this world had them. I'm the only one who had them in the previous town that I lived in. A lot of kids picked on me since I got it. I was in kindergarten at the time. A couple of teachers were watching me. All of a sudden a raven attacked me. Once they ran to me, they tried to get the bird off of me.
Yes, it bit me. It scratched me like the pain was supposed to be there. After 30 seconds, they succeeded. All the raven left was a bite mark on my wrist and a few scratches deep in the skin on two fingers and my wrist. I didn't cry too hard, but I was afraid that another bird was going to attack me. The pain was so unbearable. I never thought that I would ever feel pain like that again.
So I walk to my new proffessor and she asked me, "You're Keira?"
I answer yes anyway. I turn around, and two more people stare at me like they know that there was something that I had. They look very nice though. They are dressed like me and have different hair color like me. Then they looked at their friend who I thought had the dark aura. Once he looked at me, his aura turned red. It was like he had a whole new world.
Professor Brandon showed me my new seat. And of course, it had to be next to the guy with the red aura. He put his head down when I sat in my seat. The other two continue to stare at me. So the girl says, "Hi, I'm Angela. You have a strange aura."
I look at hers and she had yellow color. "Your aura says that you're happy," I said, "but you could change your mind in one minute."
She points to the boy next to her.
"I know, this is Jason and that boy next to you is Dakota. He's really shy."
