Mingyu is very unique in that she knows each and every one of my RPCs, to various extents. She travels a lot, and therefore meets a large variety of people. While geography or time lines may seem a bit off for some of them, there is no one she doesn't know. Below is a list of my other RPCs and what encounters they have had with her:
Alan: She frequently buys and sells objects to him, occasionally traveling with him. She always keeps an eye out for a teacher for him wherever she travels.
Aysu: First met her when visiting her house and got lost trying to find the bathroom. She shared some stories and Aysu showed her out of the house, giving her a pretty necklace before leaving. Later met up with her while traveling and helped her through dangerous land, recieving a bottle of moon water in return.
Fion: Met him in a small town as he was working odd jobs to make money so as to purchase supplies before he moved on again. She offered to acompany him to the next town. They traveled together for about a month, growing close. As they parted they vowed to stay in touch. She even gave him one of her precious crystals, one that contained a powerful wind spirit known as Jinx, to help him on his journey to increase his strength. He later returned it to her, feeling that in order to get stronger he needed to rely on only himself.
Gale: Stayed with her and helped with house chores for about two weeks while she explored the nearby mountains for a rare item she was currently questing.
Jade: She came across an unmarked grave when traveling near the ocean. She left an offering, a bit of food and a pretty rock she'd picked up along the tide line. The forest she was attempting to cut through was a dangerous place, easy to get lost in. That's when Jade appeared. She offered to take Mingyu through the forest, for the kindess she'd shown at the grave of her dead love. The journey took nearly a week. Mingyu still goes back from time to time to visit.
Jasper: She was in a mountain region, looking for plants that grew exlusively in that area. It was about after 4 days that he appeared, a completely silent shadow. He never once spoke the entire 2 weeks she was there, but he was a great listener and she told him all sorts of stories. As she was leaving, waving back at him, he shouted out to her to come back again some time. She just grinned and said she would. She turned to get her bearings, then looked back one last time. Jasper was gone from view. All she could see was a giant hawk flying up to the mountains.
Jen: Met her not long after Jasper, only she knows about Jen's animal powers. They swaped herb gathering secrets and camped out together in the forest for three days. They are friends and Mingyu still comes by to visit.
Kamal: They met up while leaving a town located close to a desert. They found their occupations had much in common, though they did different things. They became fast friends, traveling together til the next town where they parted ways. He's the only one able to beat her skills with a knife.
Kepi: Kepi came stumbling up to her house one day and passed out on her doorstep. Mingyu nursed her back to health. Later Kepi asked if she'd seen any wolf packs in this region. Mingyu told her she hadn't but would keep her eyes peeled during her travels. Still still meet up occasionally at her house, but no sign of Kepi's pack has been seen yet.
Kesi: Met her on her travels through the desert. The two traveled together, since Kesi knew the land very well. She enjoyed hearing stories of Mingyu's life, and was grateful that she never asked questions about her past. The two are good friends and Mingyu has good relations with the entire Sutekh clan.
Rakesh: She was traveling through a forest on another quest when a group of vampires attacked her. She was able to kill one, but the effort it took meant she wouldn't be able to hold off the others very long. Rakesh came out of nowhere and killed the other vampires, saving her. He watched over her as she regained her strength. Both told stories about their lives, and he traveled with her through the forest after she got better. Whenever she's in the area he always travels with her, since the land is rather dangerous for humans to be in.
Rei: They traveled together for about half a year, Mingyu using her ability to gather info to help Rei at her job. She still comes by to visit the inn Rei owns, and also helps out by sending her any useful information she comes across.
Seth: Met Seth in a library. He helped her find a certain book she was looking for (not to steal) and they started up a conversation. She was the one who ended up convincing Seth to start traveling and expanding his knowledge of the world.
Shemei: Visited her village a lot with Shemei still lived there. She even traveled with Shemei when her left her village for about the first month before they parted ways.
Terra: Met Terra when she ran into Seth after he had traveling for a few years, back when Terra was still a small child. They traveled together for about a week, which is how long it took for Terra to allow Mingyu to approach. Before they went their separate ways Mingyu gave Terra an ebalorated decorated bracelet.
Viorel: She's related to him, a many times great granddaughter of his sister. He knows this, though she doesn't. They met by chance in a mountain village and he recognized her right away. He's always somewhere nearby, always following her as she travels.
